We were very happy with the installation, from initial quote to completion. SVP Energy is a professional and very efficient company. The team in the office were very responsive with answering queries, helpful with SEI grant submissions etc. The engineers on the day arrived on time, worked hard and cleaned up after. We found the whole experience very smooth. The pricing was very competitive. Highly recommended.

We haven't had to pay for electricity since we got our installation from SPV Energy 27 months ago. And on the only occasion when we had a problem, Liz had us up and running again with her clear and prompt instructions. I've no problem recommending SPV Energy for your solar installation.

I found the representatives of this company to be professional, hard working, efficient, good communicators and a pleasure to deal with.

I was very happy with the service I received from SPV energy. When I emailed them over the Christmas holiday period, I received an email straight away to confirm they had received it and would be in touch. Then I had a call out from Padraig who was extremely helpful and gave me the benefit of his professional advice. Nicole contacted me the day before my battery was due to be fitted and Ray and Paul arrived to install it. They were extremely professional and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend SPV to anyone looking for solar panels with reliable after sales service.

Installation not completed

My house was built in the sixtes when the main board had fuses. Some additional works had also been carried out about 40 years ago when esb regulations were not as stringent. SPV advised me that the new circuit breakers might cause problems so it was agreed that these would be resolved if they occured.
Like virtually all other reviews the installation was carried on time with virtually no disruption. Unfortunately 3 lights caused problems and were not connected to the system.

Over the last 3 months I have asked them on numerous occasions to return and complete the contract without success. They have a fantastic receptionist but in spite of her best efforts were futile.
I am writing this review in the hope that they will return and I would still be happy to give a five star rating.

The customer services at this company is incredible! Pádraig came out to replace our dead battery today, and gave excellent tips and tricks, and all in a very courteous way, explaining all. I cannot recommend this company enough, and letting them install our solar panels and battery was the best decision ever!

I had an array and battery installed by SPV during the summer, and their quote was one of the most competitive I received. The consultation and follow-up communication were excellent, with Padraig consistently taking the time to answer every question.

The installation went smoothly. The team were flexible about the inverter and battery location—we chose to place both outside—and the cable work was tidy and professional.

The aftercare has been outstanding. When we had an intermittent WiFi issue with the inverter, SPV arranged a free follow-up visit to install a hardwired Ethernet connection. More recently, a cold-weather issue prevented the battery from charging properly. Padraig handled everything with the manufacturer and kept us updated throughout, resolving it within a couple of weeks.

I’d heard stories of installers offering little support after the job is done, but SPV has been the complete opposite. Their service has been excellent from start to finish.

Job was done very fast in high quality for workers hi 5 ,paperwork was helpful any questions was answered hi 5 , just sell men Timmy was promised do everything I was asked but when came time some words was just words so my recommendations ask to write in paper what will be agreed before install.

Just had a solar panel and battery system installed. Competitive quotation. Everything delivered exactly as promised. Explained well before installation and after installaion. Installaion done very neatly. So far so good!

I had a number of quotes from various solar installers and went with SPV Energy who were competitively priced. Padraig had provided us with a detailed analysis and 3 options for installation. We made our choice and communication was excellent throughout. Workmanship on the day was great and we had a couple of teething issues since that were sorted very quickly. I would not hesitate in recommending SPV energy

Padraig was great at explaining the best system for us and other things we could do in the future ,lads fitting system arrived early before I left for work myself and were very efficient and tidy and left everything as was before they arrived .
Company sorted out staged payments for the system and everything involved for the grant so all in all an easy enough process.

They came recommended by two seperate friends. Easy to deal with and excellent in terms of communicating. Went above and beyond to get the grant through. The installation was quick and the installers were very neat. Have already recommended them to others.

The journey from the first phone call to the completion of the job was so smooth I couldn't find any issues at all . The lads who actually put the panels up were so clean we didn't have to do anything to clean up after the job. First class workers.
