The best experience!

WOW. Absolutely phenomenal service — far beyond anything I expected.
After the purchase, we discovered that the pool slide had a defect. It turned out it likely came from a dealer and the serial number was from several years ago, so it didn’t even show up in the system as a product under warranty.

Despite that, the company responded immediately, asked almost no questions, and without hesitation replaced it with a brand-new, complete slide.

I was genuinely blown away by their honesty, professionalism, and commitment to standing behind their product. This level of customer service is extremely rare these days.

Highly, highly recommend this company. Truly exceptional.

They do not stand behind their…

They do not stand behind their products. Our 2 Treo pool lights lasted a little over a year so I filled out the warranty replacement info only to be told I need to hire and pay a pool contractor to diagnose first. I'm an electrician.....its a low voltage light....this is not rocket science. I submitted proof of purchase and everything but they will not help.

Do not purchase any SR Smith pool…

Do not purchase any SR Smith pool slide. I spent over 4,000.00 on a typhoon slide. The joint in the middle did not align and the left side has a big gap on the outer edge. My pool builder put something in the joint to try to help it not be such a big gap. (It really hurts your bottom when you go down the slide). I decided to call SR Smith to try and figure out what to do. Only to find out that because my pool builder used something to try to fill in the gap so it wouldn’t hurt the children going down, she said that voided my warranty. I’m just really aggravated at spending this much on a slide and they refuse to do anything. Clearly, it was made out of alignment and I’m not asking for money back or a new slide, just for it to be fixed and useable. This is so frustrating. I would not recommend buying any SR Smith product. They do not stand behind them. Whatever the pool builder used in the joint is not permanent. I could pick every bit of it off. I just don’t see how this can void a warranty when it did not do anything to the structure of the slide at all!! I spoke to my pool builder about this just a few minutes ago, they had an issue with this exact slide leaking water at the joint. They called SR SMITH, and guess what? They told them to put joint compound in the joint, but that very same thing gets rid of my warranty! Go figure!

Purchased a new slide on Facebook

Purchased a new slide on Facebook , however it was missing a part. Called Sr Smith to order part. The lady said too bad do your homework next time, we don’t sell parts. So now I am out 2500 dollars. She kinda laughed and said it happens all the time. Thanks Sr Smith. Won’t purchase in future.

Don't do it -- company doesn't care…

Don't do it -- company doesn't care about its customers. We purchased (through an installer) their largest slide in early June. Shipment was to happen within a week. Then it was delayed three weeks because of delays caused by the coronavirus. We understood. Then we were told we were given a "ship date" of August 7. ok fine. August 6 our installer confirmed it was going to be shipped the next day. Silence for a week. Then I got the order number and called. It didn't ship and they don't know when it will get a new ship date. Its August 24th, I've just spoken to them and they "dont have a new ship date". The customer service rep doesn't know when it will ship, or even an estimate whether it will be 1 month or 6 months. The rep will not talk to the production team and give me any more detail, I simply must just wait. I recognize this is not lifesaving equipment but they are just sitting on my 2500 and telling me I'll get it when I get it. This isn't the right way to deal with customers.
