What a joke this company is didn’t arrive until late which meant a 9pm finish
Complained I had too much and left 3 car loads behind including my televisions
Intimidated me because they wanted payment up front when I wasn’t happy with this explaining all my other moves are paid at the end for correct costing I held my ground then these brave people against me a 70 year old woman said they couldn’t load any more until I paid for the job which they had half loaded I offered to pay $1000 with the balance once the job was complete but no they weren’t happy with that wanted it all
They are disgustingly rude dropped and spilt some of my belongings on the ground I had to get some friends to help the next day to finish the job they didn’t do made fun of me and the way I left some things in drawers who do they think they are
They sent a truck with three men against my wishes because they were late getting there
They are the worst company I have ever dealt with use at your own risk

Warning Do NOT go with these removalists. I asked for their BIGGEST truck because I specifically told them I DO NOT WANT TO DO 2 TRIPS IN A SMALL TRUCK!!

They booked a small truck without even looking at my belongings and didn't even offer me their largest 14tonne truck assuming I had a little amount of furniture and belongings. No coming to the property to quote me to actually SEE how much items I have!

Very unprofessional. Demanded I paid after almost 14hrs moving waiting for them to return and leaving my belongings in the new apartment garage and stealing the rest of my belonging taking it with them.

Police were called whilst 4 of them tried to kick down my nieghbour's Screen and door.

I was willing to pay for 12hrs and they demanded more!

They ignored customer requests from the very beginning. When they ask you for your largest truck you offer it! Don't assume! I also asked for my bed to be disesembelled and reassembled at my new place along with taking down a tv of the wall in the master bedroom. They didn't bring any tools. Told me it was in another truck an hour away.

I was told I emailed after hours for this request yet they responded after hours when I asked would I get a 30min call away in the morning?

They the worst and slowest company I have ever dealt with in my 20 moves in my life!

I booked this company one month in advance and paid a $100 deposit. One day before the move, I was informed they couldn’t arrive at the agreed time, with a very unconvincing excuse.
On the actual moving day, no one showed up at all. I repeatedly called to ask when they would arrive, but the operator could not provide any definite time.
I was in a very difficult position, as I only had one day to move. I was relocating from one apartment to another, which required booking and locking the lift to minimise waiting time. Due to their no-show and lack of communication, I had to urgently book another moving company.
SS Removalists do not honour agreed times and do not value their customers. I lost my $100 deposit, which was not refunded.
Do not 🚫 use this company.

Sia & Joseph were amazing! They arrived on time with smiles & a sense that they had everything under control. They were quick, communicative & honestly wonderful to hire. Am in need of removalists again next week for a storage container shipment, and there was no doubt in booking them again! Thanks guys.

If there is any negative I will definitely give that. The owner threatened me she told me on the call she will go to police and cyber cell and go to the court against me just because I wrote truth about my experience with their service. They first damaged my items. As a single mom with one child we faced a lot stress and anxiety on the day of moving. I have complained on the same day what they did not respond then I done formal complaint on email they didn’t respond. They leave the Aircon on fan on lights on main door open . Left my some items behind in the old house. When I go back then I checked everything I also called the main person. No respond I got. I have eye witnesses for that day . Even they lost my current home keys on that day and didn’t accept they did mistake. Me and my child suffered alot on that day. I never ever recommend to any other person. Very unprofessional service. They intentionally waste time to earn more. Even I helped them to take out my stuff from my unit to the ground floor. I paid money whatever they asked from me on same day of moving. I asked first send me invoice but Navraj told me no mate you have to pay right now. Then I paid immediately on the spot whatever he asked to pay. The owner told me on the you have not paid full money for their service. She trying to put false blame on me. And threaten me on 26 December 2025 on call, timing is 6:50 pm. Just because I wrote my experience on their Instagram page. Now she blocked me. Be careful guys….

Worst Removalist Experience I’ve Ever Had – Avoid S.S. Removals and Rentals

This is hands down the worst removalist service I’ve ever experienced. I paid for two men and a truck through S.S. Removals and Rentals, yet for most of the time only one worker was actually moving furniture while the other was standing around on his phone.

I clearly told them to move all the large furniture first because I physically cannot lift heavy items. When I came back to the house as they were loading the truck, I found them wasting time moving cushions — items I could have easily moved myself — instead of the heavy furniture I specifically requested.

They worked at a painfully slow pace that felt deliberate. I even recorded how long it took them to move my entertainment unit: two men took five minutes to move something one person could have carried to the truck in under a minute. This kind of time-wasting was constant throughout the job.

After I complained, I was charged an extra half hour. The situation became heated and verbal, and I was too uncomfortable to go to the new house immediately afterward.

On top of all this, they damaged my bedside table drawer.

This entire experience was stressful, unprofessional, and unfair. I would strongly advise anyone considering S.S. Removals and Rentals to stay well away.

At $500 an hour, too expensive. Very rude and unprofessional. Damaged my things plus badly scratched a wall. Definitely would not use again.

They charge $500 for an hour
They add on extra charges
They are extremely unprofessional and rudest customer experience
The ombudsman knows all about them
Do not book this “business”
They do not know what they are doing
Not worth the stress or money

Truck turned up late. The guys kept complaining we had too much stuff. They took an hour for lunch and then overcharged at the end of the move.
We have moved before with more furniture into a 2 storey house and had the job done quicker. Wouldn’t use again.

Brilliant service with a smile

I rented a van from this mob. First of all, there is no clarity gave me an extremely dirty van in front of my kids and then confirm from the owner.Navraj, specifically pointed out that the van is all dirty. He mentioned just bring the van dirty as well and you don’t have to wash it or anything like that. Just bring it as it is when you finish return the van as it was being said, and then they deducted the bond because they wanted the cleaning fee to be charged from me the van wasn’t dirty from inside at all. It was raining and the van was dirty from outside. I have never ever come across a rental company, charging a customer to clean their vehicle from outside, absolutely pathetic service trying to justify the cleaning fee which the owner specifically mentioned do not clean. Just bring back the vehicle as it is extremely unprofessional everyone in there have absolutely no idea what they’re doing. The van was totally making the noise of one of the doors open, constantly not roadworthy vehicles on the road even though the words were said by owner, it meant nothing the words were specifically said “ DO NOT CLEAN THE VEHICLE BRING IT AS IT IS” Meant absolutely nothing after that. Stay away from these unprofessional people.

Ive just these guys twice now! I didn't even get any other quotes this time, I just rang and booked them in.
They are reliable, efficient, take really good care of my stuff and there very friendly!

Booked and paid. Was told we would have arrival time of 11am to 3pm. We sat around all day waiting for the call and after we tried calling over and over again and our calls getting ignored we finally got given a time of 5pm to 5:30pm.

On arrival the gentleman who was meant to load truck told us we had to much stuff, it will fit in the truck but he won’t be loading unless we pay more money because yes his truck is big enough but we need to pay extra. When I refused and told him i was calling the office he packed up the truck and left. On phone to the company he told them he was rude to me because I was rude to him. This guy started demanding more money or he’d leave as soon as myself and my husband got out of our car.

To the company: I understand it was not the original truck you had lined up to do the job but that is the truck you sent. There was no communication with us regarding it and most certainly not told it would cost $300 more before they arrived.
As the company sent that truck on their own free will didn’t even tell us, the cost of that is their liability. And they need to teach their staff how to effectively communicate instead of being rude and arrogant.

Conclusion: We are getting a refund (which I am sure will take 5-10 business days to return).

This is not a company we recommend

Disappointed with the service. Bad experience.
Booked for an early am pick up only to get pushed back to three different timeslots and then was still late.
Move was done 24hours after orginal booking.

Would no recommend

Do not recommend this company!!
Broken items : pool table & TV
Missing box .
Bad communication.
After a month of phone calls and messages from myself nothing has been resolved.
Delete bad reviews so only good ones show.
