I booked a van, last-second, for a Sunday job. The customer service was impeccable - it's worth mentioning John - and I had to rely on someone professional since I was making the booking for my boss. Excellent prompt service and great value for money
Terrible experience. Tried to get a quote via phone, it took forever to get it back, then was unclear, the customer support was unhelpful and I also felt the pricing was misleading as it didn't mention important bits. I would not recommend, wasted a lot of time and didn't go anywhere.

The two guys who helped us with the move approached the task with incredible responsibility and professionalism. The entire process went smoothly and without any unnecessary issues. They carefully carried and loaded everything, without causing any damage, and quickly packed everything into the van. They paid special attention to fragile items, for which we're particularly grateful.

They worked so fast for me, I really appreciate how helpful they were. I had to remove everything from my house while I was oversees. I planned on donating and called ahead of time to which they said it was fine, but when Stackt called they claimed I never even called which ofcourse made things harder, and the time difference where I am made it difficult for them to contact me in the morning so they cancelled seeing how the moving destination was a fail and I couldn't pick up. Which ofcourse fair enough. But when I finally got in contact with them again they revived the service with no extra charge as long as the distance was about the same, just happened later than planed. They even other serviced as they noticed I was backed into a corner. Paid extra for their other service ofcourse. Won't lie it was quite expensive in the end but my hands were tied I was just happy to get everything done with a helpful service! Would definitely use them again!

Stackt’s response to this review is going to explain how i paid for X amount but it turned out that Y was what was needed.
When researching this company I was swayed by the 4 star reviews and if you know -exactly- what you need moved then I would indeed recommend this company - their staff were friendly and arrived on time.
This company comes in a touch more expensive than its competitors - I thought i was paying for a premium service. I was not.
Unless you are able to by eyeball all of your belongings and say “yes, this will be Z number of large boxes or items” then I cannot in any way recommend this company.
Twice during the day, mid move, they rang to charge me more. The first time was to explain that they needed to disassemble and reassemble two items, fair enough I thought and happily paid for this service.
The second time was to tell me that they had to charge me for a two bedroom flat move as I had 42 items instead of the 30 I was allowed and that this would cost me more, (I actually had one small bedroom, most of which I had cleared on my own the day before, 3 bicycles and a punch bag), certainly not an entire 1 bed flat, let alone 2 bed.
Stackt were in posession of my belongings at this point.
I must confess to seeing red - I had no choice to pay it, incredibly predatory business practices.
If you want a few items moved, and you can clearly count them, then by all means pay extra for Stackt. The pay by the item approach probably works well here.
If you are paying for them to pack for you and are undertaking a significant move I would advise you to steer well clear as this cost is open ended (almost doubled for me).
At best they are guilty of completely underestimating how many items are in a typical one bedroom flat.
At worst they are undertaking very concerning business practices when it comes to moving the goal posts.
UPDATE: I am taking the steps to update this review based on the customer service I have received.
Subsequent to this review I received an email stating exactly what was counted within these 42 items.
Included within this were “large items” such as:
4 bike tires (counted as separate items)
An umbrella
A bracket for a computer screen
2 tennis rackets (counted as separate items)
2 photo frames (counted as two separate items, one of which was damaged)
1 Laundry rack
1 little white box, 1 plastic box and 2 bags - all of which were actually packaged into one box.
In possession of this detailed itinerary I of course have pursued a refund. Over a week has gone by and I have been advised of an update to their investigation of this request for a refund.
The outcome of this review was to increase the number of items I had moved apparently to 45, with no additional detail provided and to waive £23 which Stackt claimed that I still owed them, but not to refund the “upgrade” to a two bedroom flat move.
If you are pursuing a large move, steer well clear and utilise a traditional company.
they are quite misleading to students, as they advertise to give discounts to students. I was offered a 10% discount for moving and storage, but as I want my things back for my new house, they told me that the discount can't be used for this service. if they were to mention that to me before the move, I wouldn't have pursued stackt for my storage. The movers that picked up my things, had also made some snarky, mean comments to me as they took my stuff into the van.
Had an amazing experience with Stackt. Very quick and helpful customer service. The delivery team did an amazing job. Super polite and friendly. Would definitely use again and recommend!
Booked a 2 bedroom move, took the effort to take pictures of the furniture that was going to be moved although they didn’t ask for it. Was promised a service at £800+. Even asked for vehicle number the day before to book parking for them. Turned up with a different vehicle with no advance warning. Then halfway through the move, called me and demanded me to pay an extra hour at £115. But ended up charging me £304.60 without any prior communication. Just an email to tell me that that’s how much they are going to charge and went ahead to charge my card. Absolutely unscrupulous people. DO NOT USE THEM!

I am happy with the service I had with this company. There was a small mix-up over dates, so they sorted it straight away and the move happened smoothly and on time. I would be happy to use them again.
Absolutely great experience! They were super flexible in moving dates and the timing. Also really kind and responsive costumer service. No hidden costs and the delivery went smooth. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs to move and will book again in the future.
The two movers that came for my apartment were trained professionals. They rapped everything with extreme care, helped with extra work they didn’t have to, dismantle the tables and couch and assembled it back at my new apartment.
Everything went as it should and all appointments were kept and I think I got much more for my money. Will definitely use them again.
