Well made and fits perfectly.

A well made stainless steel hob back board. MDF backed for solidity and rigidity.
Additionally, the item was very well packaged.
Very slightly off square by about a millimetre, which means I had to lose a half mill top and bottom when fitting. This was a minor detail in the scheme of things, but could be an issue to others.

A very helpful and professional telephone call was followed by the fast delivery of my black stainless steel infill panel, which was perfect to fill the gap between the new microwave combi and lower oven.

We are returning customers, having originally purchased a cooker splashback and upstands 13 years ago. We have just replaced our worktops with stone, which is 5mm thinner than the old wooden ones. Stainless Direct have provided us with bespoke new upstands to attach over the top of the old ones. They were delivered really quickly, and the dimensions we totally accurate for our requirements. It now looks like we have a completely new kitchen. The whole team at Stainless Direct are a credit to their company. I needed a stainless steel surround to support an induction hob in cut-out space in my worktop. I emailed them a simple drawing with the dimensions. 5 days later the surround arrived. The surround was very well packed to ensure it stayed flat and not distorted during transit
They also provided advice on fitting the surround and phoned me the day before delivery to let me know that the product would be with me the following day. Great service, would highly recommend Stainless Steel Direct

I first contacted Stainless Direct UK on 6th September with full details and drawings for two custom stainless steel worktops. Despite chasing several times by email (including on 25th September, 7th October, and 28th October), I’ve still not received a quotation - over nine weeks later.

Each time I was told the quote would be prioritised, but nothing has ever materialised. I completely understand that custom fabrication can take time, but waiting this long just for a quote - with no follow-up or clarity - has been really disappointing.

Based on my experience so far, I’d advise others to manage expectations on response times or consider alternative suppliers if you need a timely quotation.
