great customer service

when I reached out about a problem with their cat supplements being too big for my smaller cat. They were so kind and sent me a pill crusher and slicer. they didn't have to, but they did. Truly kind of them to care about such a small problem.

As a licensed natural health provider....

I've used Standard Process with patients as an acupuncturist for over 15 years as well as using them myself. The founder was talking about soil depletion and human nutrition in the 1930's and was way ahead of his time.

There are client cases in which a Standard Process supplement is the crucial factor in improving chronic symptoms and organ function quickly.

As a company, I've seen less than optimal changes over the years like doing away with smaller sizes in favor of larger sizes of certain remedies. I really preferred being able to give clients smaller amounts to reduce wasting money when their body then needs a different remedy.

I can also sympathize though that these cost cutting or profit improving measures may be necessary for them to stay viable and stay in business and from that angle I'm in favor of them.

There is no comparable alternative to their formulations and it would be a huge detriment to the natural health field if they were no longer available.

I also applaud them getting onto platforms like Fullscript which make it much easier for me to include them with client protocols along with other brands.

Bad product. No accountability by company.

I was partially through a bottle of Cataplex E 2 when I found a small worm inside. I notified the Doctors office I purchased it through ( a highly trusted and reputable office) and they reported my experience to Standard Process. I was told that the only way this could have happened was due to something in MY Environment. This says to me that that their customer service rep was saying I was the cause of this finding in my bottle of supplement. That I contaminated my own supply. I have been using this product a number of years now and never had this problem. I also have always poured one out at a time and immediately closed the bottle up tightly. Nothing else. So how did I all of a sudden contaminate what was inside the bottle??? Rubbish. This company cannot be trusted to even consider taking accountability if this is how they train their customer service personnel to respond to such a disgusting finding in one of their products. Needless to say, I have lost all faith in ALL Standard Process products. Each and every one of them.

BEWARE!!!

FOR A COMPANY TO STATE THEIR PRODUCTS ARE GLUTEN-FREE AND THEN PROCESS THE PRODUCTS IN CLEARLY CONTAMINATED FACILITIES. IS INSANE.
I AM CELIAC. GOT VERY SICK!! THE SALES PERSON ARGUED WITH ME AND REFUSED TO REFUND ANY $.
BEWARE!! THEY STATE: "Our products are processed in a facility that manufactures other products containing soy, milk, eggs, wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, sesame and shellfish.'

These supplements prey on people who…

These supplements prey on people who believe that if their stomach is giving them trouble, sheep stomach extracts will help. The concept is archaic and dates back to the 1930s to the Standard Process health and SP's medical science "prophet", R. Lee. Most of the protein, enzymes, and other nutrients in Standard Process products are digested in our stomachs and small intestines and do not remain in the same form after we eat it. Humans, food, and nutrition are not the same as in the 1930s.
Some of the plant products are grown under clean conditions and are above organic grade.
So-called "research" from this company is scientifically and statistically defective, and therefore misleading.
In no way are Standard Process products worth their prices. Far better--buy the best, organic, fresh produce you can and give up all this ground dried-up grass and nonsense in bottles.

My homeopathist prescribed Standard Process supplements I’ve been using for a few years with very good results. However, recently I’ve been unsuccessful placing an on-line order through their website. This website as also somewhat difficult to use, as their server seem slow. I placed a call to them and was told to leave my contact information and they would call me back.
