Marcia really made this experience bad. She complained, was pushy, rude and even messed up my exam so I had to retake it. Thank god Melanie was there!

As a new patient, I was extremely disappointed with the level of care I received at Stanton Optical.
During my initial appointment, I was taken back by a technician who seemed primarily focused on asking what brand of contact lenses I currently wore and whether they were monthly or biweekly lenses because, as she explained, that was information she needed to relay to the doctor. The exam itself seemed routine, and after a short time, the technician returned and told me my prescription had changed only slightly. She placed trial contact lenses in my eyes, and I was then directed to the checkout counter.
What concerned me most was that I never saw or spoke with a doctor. Despite this, I was given a prescription and purchased a year's supply of contact lenses based solely on the trial pair I had just tried on in the office. I was hesitant but assumed I had received appropriate care.
After my contacts arrived, I quickly realized they were not working for me. My vision was poor, and I did not feel safe driving while wearing them. When I contacted the office, I was told I needed a follow-up appointment with the doctor. At that point, I questioned whether there had actually been a doctor involved in my original visit because I had never met or spoken with one. I was then informed that my exam had been conducted via telehealth, despite the fact that I never saw, spoke with, or had the opportunity to discuss my vision concerns with any doctor.
I requested to return the contacts but was told I could not. I therefore scheduled the follow-up appointment. After waiting approximately 20–25 minutes, another technician approached me and asked what the issue was. After explaining my concerns, she immediately suggested that I had probably mixed up the contacts and placed them in the wrong eyes. Rather than investigating my concerns or facilitating a discussion with the doctor, the blame was placed on me without any meaningful evaluation.
At that point, I was frustrated and disgusted by the lack of professionalism and patient care and chose to leave.
I am now left with a year's supply of contact lenses that do not work for me, a prescription from a doctor I never saw or spoke with, and many unanswered questions. As someone who works in the medical field, I find this level of patient care unacceptable. Patients deserve to have their concerns heard, evaluated, and addressed by a licensed provider—not dismissed by assumptions.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Stanton Optical, and I will not be returning.

Employees were so rude in general. Not once did anyone say thank you. They don’t tell you that you are not seeing a doctor and that your eye exam is done by some rude tech with a machine. When I asked to see the doctor because I had some concerns I was told the doctor only see patients if they feel there is an issue not the other way around. I was given trial contacts and they were really bothering my eyes I noticed that they had expired over a year and a half ago and when I brought it to their attention not once did anyone take accountability for it. They just said I guess we will have to order you trials now and you will have to wait a week or so until they arrive. I would never recommend your store to anyone.

Stanton Optical is at a very convenient location. The Staff is Amazing. I've never had an issue with an exam or finished product.I will be back
The appointment was very easy going and the ladies was so nice friendly. I had a great experience thankful I choose this location.
The person checking your eyes is not a doctor but a technician. It delays a lot, they have to reschedule me to see the doctor because they made a mistake on my prescription.

Excellent service. Booked same day appointment. Great deal on glasses, and they even waived the exam fee due to glasses purchase. I was even able to pick up my finished glasses within 1 hour. Absolutely amazing experience. Highly recommend.
I normally do not write reviews because I often wonder if they really make a difference. However, I feel compelled to share my experience in case it helps someone else.
In July 2025, I went to Stanton Optical in Coral Springs and provided my prescription to have glasses made. After receiving them, I immediately began experiencing headaches and found it difficult to function while wearing them. When I switched back to my old glasses, the headaches went away. Because of this, I returned to the store and asked them to check the prescription. They gave me a new pair in August, but I had the exact same issue.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to use those glasses at all. I eventually had to go to Target Optical, redo my eye exam, and purchase another pair of glasses. Thankfully, those glasses work perfectly.
I paid almost $600 to Stanton Optical and was later told that I could not receive a refund. Based on my experience, I would advise anyone considering Stanton Optical to think carefully before going there.
I just received my glasses which took 2 weeks. When I went in for my 2:30 I didn’t leave until 4:30 .
