Still can't were my glasses.lol

Picked up new pair progressives an they darkened real dark can't see inside my home. I'll have to return these tomorrow. Still can't see.lol

Friendly staff

Everyone in the store was super nice and helpful. However The "doctor" who did my eye exam seemed completely uninterested in anything I had to say and answered my questions with probably and maybe. Their frames are ridiculously overpriced and is set up to maximize add-ons. Everything is an extra charge. Just seems shady.

Good experience, would go again.

The process was more advanced than the other eye doctor I went too (probably because that was Walmart) and I felt like the doctor finally got my prescription right! I can actually see.

Stanton Optical has a huge selection of frames at various prices. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Received my glasses on time and I haven't had to go back for adjustments.

Everything was great except the wait…

Everything was great except the wait for the employee to enter data on the computer, especially for insurance.Y’all need some new, more efficient software!

Not a good review

The only reason you got 2 stars instead of one is that the exam was great. The receptionist, the tele-exam, was all on-point. There's also, in that same extra star, polite staff in doctors office and sales floor. Aside from that? 1-star quality in everything. My glasses are back for the second time for a re-do. I spent almost $1100 on 3 pair. I finally walked home with one pair yesterday.

First pairs - all 3 not measured right. Progressive was in the wrong place. The sunglasses said the lense was gradient, but it definitely was not. Sent all 3 back.

Came back for 2nd time, both seemed great but the sunglasses hadn't made it back. Fine. I at least had 2 pair until he went to adjust the glasses then he brought them back, I noticed a smear and he went to clean them and came back and stated that the coating must have not set correctly when they were heated and they were damaged.

They were a scratched mess. If that would have happened to me, a customer, while cleaning, I would have been sunk.

I'm waiting for my sunglasses to come back along with the damaged lenses being replaced.

How many trips have I made to the store?

Too many.

The glasses I brought home? They seem okay. Just not my style like I thought. That one is on me, I guess.

Dirty

Dirty! Felt grungy and grimey in the store; all glasses were in need of cleaning. Service was subpar. Probably would not go again. They try to upcharge you for every little thing. That 2/$79 deal that attracted me in ended up being hundreds more. And had to wait nearly 3 weeks to receive everything but was told different via phone. My glasses were even crooked and the guy adjusted them making them even worse

Starting with the most unsatisfactory…

Starting with the most unsatisfactory eye exam. It was so bad I went to a different facility. The prescription from Stanton wasn't even close. I brought the new prescription to Stanton. This was the only bright spot in this process. Glasses took 12 days to arrive. The agent who fitted my new glasses did a horrible job. They are still not fitting right.

Will never go back here

Will never go back here. Insanely long wait times for no reason. Doctor looks like he needs a break from life. Sales lady switches up when she realizes she can’t get one over on me trying to charge me $500 for 2 pairs of glasses without even asking my budget and when told my budget is unwilling to be as helpful as she once was. I told them to ship my glasses and they said 3-5 days. A week later I had to call to find out they showed up to the store and I was supposed to get them the next day or the following. Now I won’t get them untik next week. Worst experience will never be back here.
