Yesterday, m husband and I visited Staton Optical located at 1305 W 49 St. Hialeah Fl. 33012. It was around 2:00PM. The first step we did was verify if they accepted our insurance. They said yes, our insurance was accepted. Then she gave me a list of prices. Because we didn’t have appointment, we waited for more than two hours, even though we have only two customers in front of us. I decided to review the prices she gave us and compare it with my insurance’s prices, and I realized that the prices she gave to us were not correct. As I confronted them, they admitted they do not accept my insurance. In conclusion, they lied to us deliberately. Of course we left the place without getting any glasses for my husband. We are very disappointed with the last of transparency this person showed to us. Her dishonest behavior revealed to us her lack of professionalism. But on the other hand, when I confronted the other person( a man) that was working there, he invented a story and explained me that those prices were correct, because my insurance uses a third party company. This was another tremendous lie. My insurance NEVER has used a third party for vision services. Definitely, we DO NOT recommend Stanton optical centers to any body.

Customer service was amazing! I was attended by Christiana and she was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I ordered contact lenses and glasses and everything arrived within a week or less. I took my own frames and they were very well taken care of. I’m super satisfied with the results and with communication during the week with updates.
