Unprofessional service
I received a call from Stanton optical in Humble Texas to confirm that my eyeglasses were ready. The young lady, I spoke to I did not get her name. She provided me with a store hours when requested. I showed up at least two hours before the store closed. Stood at the front counter for 3 to 5 minutes. When I was finally acknowledged, the young lady looked for my glasses, which they were nowhere to be found. I guess he was the manager on duty yesterday, September 10, 2026. He conducted an additional search thoroughly in their storage bins where they store the glasses awaiting pick up and stated he could not find them. He looked in the computer system and said I don’t understand this does not make sense. And had me standing there then said well I’ll have to review your order and see what I can do to give you an upgrade so that you can walk out of here with better glasses because I will need to re-order them. Even though he was in the computer looking up, my order could not provide me with what he was going to give me “ free”but assured me that I would get something for free with the replacement order that he was working on for me. It just seemed very unprofessional the entire time I was in the store nothing compared to my first visit when I was purchasing and placing the order for the glasses after my test were complete. Mind you throughout this entire process I do not even live in Humble Texas. I live in Splendora Texas which the drive about 5:00 PM is at least 30 to 40 minutes to arrive to the store so it’s not an easy drive to the location.

The technicians were very friendly ,professional and knowledgeable. I went in for a regular eye exam and they suggested that I get a diabetic screening and I agreed to it. This screening diagnosed some bleeding behind my eyes. I was referred to an ophthalmologist and I am now on a treatment plan.
