Brand-New Belongings Ruined – No Response to My Compensation Claim

I had a very disappointing experience with Star Cargo Services when I sent four parcels weighing 66 kg from the UK to Pakistan by sea.

When the parcels arrived, I found that water had leaked inside, leaving my belongings severely damaged by water, mould and rust. My brand-new clothes and other items were ruined, and even sealed food packets were damaged and contaminated.

The estimated value of my damaged belongings is £1,000, and I also paid £115 for shipping and packing, making my total claim £1,115.

I sent the company a formal complaint with photographs and videos as evidence and requested compensation. Unfortunately, my calls have not been answered and I have received no reply to my email.

I am extremely disappointed by the damage to my belongings and the lack of communication regarding my claim.

My advice to anyone considering this service is to carefully check the company's terms, damage policy and compensation arrangements before sending valuable belongings.

I hope Star Cargo Services responds to my complaint and offers a fair resolution.
