I’m writing to share a very bad communication experience.

I’m writing to share a very disappointing experience I had with one of your team members, Shambhavi (possibly Shambhavi Tiwari). Her tone and way of communication were extremely rude and unprofessional — something I did not expect from a reputed platform.

As a verified creator and entrepreneur, I joined StarClinch after aligning with its vision. But this behavior has left a poor impression and damaged the trust that should be the foundation of any professional relationship.

This was not just bad communication — it was disrespectful, and it reflects poorly on your brand. I hope this incident is taken seriously, and internal standards are improved to maintain professionalism and respect for creators.

LaLa Company

Unfortunately, we have to give Starclinch a one-star rating, although they don't even deserve that. The behavior of the owner is pathetic, and the management team, particularly the former employees, lacks the ability to effectively manage the team. They excel at playing politics and mind games instead.

the owner, director …. and his EA to CEO is particularly disheartening. Rather than motivating the team, he consistently demotivates and undermines the confidence of individuals. Negativity and dishonesty seem to be their native language, as they rarely follow through on their promises. They expect people to work for free, which is unacceptable.

Their HR manager, I wonder how she became manager bcz is especially unethical and lacks proper knowledge and practice of HR policies. I fully agree with the previous reviews, especially regarding the full and final settlement issues, which they never resolve.

If anyone is considering joining Starclinch, please reconsider. It won't be good for your mental health and will waste your time and money. I have filed a case in labor court due to their refusal to release my salary. Wish me luck in winning this case.

Overall Experience

After few months of tenure with this company, I am pleased to share my positive experience. The work environment fosters a sense of cooperation and support among colleagues, contributing to a productive atmosphere. Despite a relatively low staff density, the workload can be demanding at times; however, it remains manageable. The scheduling, with hours from 11:30 am to 8:30 pm, may present challenges for some, yet overall, it has not detracted from the overall positive experience. I appreciate the ample opportunities for learning and growth within this organization.

Bad manners how to talk a person

My encounter with StarClinch's hiring team was nothing short of disappointing and unprofessional. From the outset, the lack of organization and clarity in their job postings made it challenging to understand the role's expectations. The interview process showcased a disregard for candidates' time, with delayed and sporadic communication, generic questions, and an overall disinterested and unprepared demeanor from the interviewers. The absence of feedback post-interview further emphasized the team's lack of professionalism and respect for candidates. Overall, the experience highlighted a severe need for improvement in StarClinch's hiring processes and a fundamental shift in attitude towards fostering a more respectful and transparent candidate experience.

BE CAREFUL

BE CAREFUL - this company is not trustworthy!

They 'assure' you a minimum revenue from a certain number of gigs in a year - but don't keep their word after taking the fees.

We had paid their subscription fees on their official assurance that the fees would be refunded if their promise is not fulfilled. Subsequently, not a single gig came thru them, and since then they have been avoiding all calls, messages and emails.

They shut their offices in Delhi during Covid and were not contactable. All emails went unanswered, and their executive whom we managed to get on the phone refused to provide any alternative address where a letter or notice could be sent. They also refused to provide the proprietor's/owner's number and address where any communication could be sent.

Our fees have not been returned by them despite the fact that they did not fulfill their assurances.

The worst people I had to deal with

The worst people I had to deal with. They don't keep their words and miles away from ethics. No ethics or emotions for anybody. They think money is all that matters in life. No doubts they are polished in their behaviour but in practice they are rude and selfish.

Worst employer in India with unethical work environment.

I worked as a digital marketing associate(junior) with starclinch for 4 months. Worst work culture and high Unethical behavior. They are happy to screw the employee career by hiring them even if they cannot pay them the salaries. This company is always hiring because no one stays more than a month or two with these unprofessional people. I joined this company in December 2019. I got my appointment letter after 2months after asking the HR Neha regularly. She kept on giving me lame excusing as always. Once they hire you their responsibilities are over. An appointment letter is supposed to be received on the first day but yet they have their own stupid rules. At the time of the interview, they promised me a hike after 3 months but in march (after 3 months) when I asked them the HR (Intern) gave me the stupid and illogical excuse that its financial year and we cannot do anything. Worst working culture ever seen in my life.Worst HR policies and worst HRs too. Not just this, they didn't pay us the salary for the month of Feb 2020 when there was no lockdown. We lost our job during this pandemic and didn't get any assistance from the company. On being repeatedly asked about the salary of month Feb Shambhavi Tiwari (executive assistant to CEO) sent me a rude email stating off-topic points and pointing fingers at me for asking about the salary. She clearly asked me to resign or to approach a lawyer if I want my salary. This is how they work. If you are going to ask them about your hard-earned money they are going to lash out on you. Especially this lady Shambhavi Tiwari has no work ethics or professionalism and lacks basic manners too. She thinks she's the goddess but in reality, outside the doors of starclinch shes nothing but just an insecure aunty who is jealous of everyone whos working well in their life.
After this conversation, she removed me from the company's official Whatsapp group, deleted my official Gmail account, and didn't gave me any response. In addition to that, they haven't even given us the experience letter or any official document which is really important for our career.
At the end we received a mail from Varun Aggarwal (CEO of the company), stating that colleagues who are running out of patience and resources can look out for better opportunities as the company doesn't have anything in its hand and cannot pay the salaries for the month of Feb and March 2020 even when they were showing growth in their account books till the month of March. Working in this company is your worst nightmare. Guys, don't join in this so-called company, especially for freshers. You will waste ur time and end up with so much disappointment just like us. Non timely payment of salary- Expect a delay of 15-25 days every month (only if they want to pay otherwise forget about your salaries)
They will hold a long meeting just before leaving time. Even if it's too late they don't care you will have to attend the meetings every time.
Currently, they don't even have an office. They knew what they were doing so they just packed their stuff and left the office in march like thieves. Even when we asked them to give us an official mail that they will pay our Feb salary in a few days. They denied our request. They are just running and hiding under the bed that's all they can do. This company is a joke and full of morons.
My only reason for staying at the firm was the Digital Marketing team. Only digital marketing team had knowledgeable and supportive team members. This was the reason I was tolerating and ignoring everything else.

Don't get fooled by the snazzy looking…

Don't get fooled by the snazzy looking website or the false image of a fun environment. Truth is the people who helped built this site were never got paid by the so called CEO Varun Agrawal, a degenerate fraud stingy baniya who runs this website like a roadside halwayi. All the 'positive' reviews are fake and forced upon on staffs and artists by threatening to hold staff salary and client payments. The maniac would stomp across the office yelling for reviews or nobody gets to go home. Soon as you join the company first day you're threatened to write a good review cause he knows the staff won't last long enough. He has no sense of music at all nor any intention of benefitting the artists. It's just a scam! Don't do the mistake by doing any kind of association with this man and his fraud accomplice 'Shambhavi Tiwari'. You will never get paid but instead will be humiliated. When the staff never get paid in full, chances of the artists getting paid stands barely. A very misleading company designed to rip off small and budding young musicians who are in need. Varun should be in jail. Period.

On a side note, totally agree with other users who have mentioned unethical and mentally ill nature behaviour of Varun Agrawal. Yes it is true he is divorced and its been heard he did beats up his wife because she found about his kaale kartoot with that 'other' woman who could be none other than Shambhavi Tiwari.

We are very sorry for your bad experience but nowhere in your review you have mentioned your problems specifically. The review written is totally generic. It has not even been mentioned anywhere about how you are related to Starclinch, whether you are an artist who was associated with us or were an old employee. We are willing to help you with your problems, provided you approach us with your details because as per our records we have never been associated with a person named Abhinav Khatri.

Emcee Priyanka Bhalla - extremely unprofessional & unproductive

Had a very bitter experience with Emcee Priyanka Bhall, who is also promoted by Starclinch; she is extremely unprofessional and lacks basic communication skill to the extent that she did not reply for two weeks after taking the advance and did not return our phone calls. Later we were finally able to contact her after many attempts. However she communicated with us for a couple of days with some limited ideas which weren’t much innovative, she also said that she won’t have time to discuss the details and said that she would be able to do so just prior to the event, and only then she will be giving us the complete list of requirements & not before hand. She was also expecting us to arrange everything at a short notice. We were so frustrated with the lack of professionalism, impolite language and mannerisms that we were forced to cancel her, the Icing on the cake is she has also refused to pay our advance as she had really worked hard in copying and pasting ideas from the net to us for 2-3 days. Save some time and money and stay away from this fraudster or else you would be spending a lot of sleepless nights running after her for your marriage party or a corporate event.
I would also request starclinch to stop promoting her.
