Very happy - but we bought 3 times too more than needed.

The selection, product, delivery and service were all great! However, we should have called though before purchasing to make sure our fireplace was compatible and should not have gone with the recommendation on several sights regarding how much to buy for our size fireplace. We ended up purchasing 32 lbs but can't use more than 5 lbs for our brand fireplace. Ended up being a very expensive 5 lbs!

No meaningful order information given

Seems to me the most important information to provide a customer is the purchase confirmation and shipping status of the customer's order. I've placed two orders for nearly $2K each. In both cases, I never received any email from starfiredirect with a confirmation of my order, shipping status, tracking numbers, or anything of the sort. There's an overly complicated customer portal that I'm asked to log into, which is a hassle. It contains tons of not very useful information and features, but no shipping status or tracking information. I don't need a "dashboard" (which they provide in their customer portal), I just want to know where the stuff is that I ordered - did it ship, and if so, tracking info. Keep it simple.

Fire pit ledges

Built a fire pit in my backyard and needed a good way to support the fire pan and ring.

Did some research and found the StarFire Direct website. They had a great installation video for the ledges and I ordered 7 of them. They arrived last week (quickly) and I installed them today.

They went in easily and worked perfectly.

The fire pit now looks fantastic. I would highly recommend these to anyone building a fire pit.

Beautiful colors

Shopping for what I needed was easy and fast. The colors and helpful hints were exactly as stated. We purchased the caribbean blue reflective glass for our natural gas fire pit and it looks unbelievable.

Not impressed

I purchased the heater on the 27th of January and never received any information until two weeks after the purchase. I was charged for the purchase three days after buying it. It appears as if it will take close to a month before I receive the item I ordered. I would not recommend purchasing from them
