I spent $700 to get this company they were absolutely a zero
The reason why I'm writing review on this company's because I'm getting back Mediacom after the global outage I couldn't get back to my Wi-Fi this company did not even care about it all they care about is money I wouldn't go with them if you paid money to get them so which part is I can't even get to cancel the damn thing because they won't answer their phones and they won't listen to customers but I will get rid of them Mediacom is coming out to hook up the internet again and I'm going to stick with them versus these terrible people that don't care about the customers and that is how I feel I paid $700 for all this stuff and the contractor that installed it not too long after the global outage he wouldn't charge me $150 to come out and fix it on my Wi-Fi this company I hope goes out of business soon
You cant contact them by phone
You cant contact them by phone. Created a ticket and no response other than from a ChatBot then nothing.

Incompetent customers service
First of all Starlink works for most uses, but has trouble with Apollogroup.tv internet TV and has a real horrible support.
Before ordering Starlink I inquired if I could setup and test Starlink at my home address before giving it to my daughter. #TIK-5195734-23178-53 The answer was yes, but no mentioning on extra cost to change the service address.
So when the kit arrived I tested and had to change the service address twice. Starlink didn't tell me the exact cost for this change, nor did they waive the cost, which they missed to disclose when I asked before ordering.
I will now return the starlink kit for a full refund, because doing long term business with such incompetent and user unfriendly blokes is not my plan.

Thank you Starlink for fast and…
Thank you Starlink for fast and consistent speeds and service. We previously had Rise Broadband for 8 years and then we lost service due to overcrowding of the tower and we had the top tier service for $117 per month. Service technician said sorry but there’s nothing we can do for you, well no more Rise Broadband. Then we tried Viasat , that worked for four days then service went to a crawl again sorry but that’s the best speed you can get in your area another $165 month money wasted. We finally got Starlink we set it up in around 30 minutes and we were amazed how fast it was between 115 to 250 download and 12 to 22 upload, 35 ms latency for $120 per month.
Package was not delivered
Package was not delivered. Not possible to resolve through tech support. Errors in their application. So, no refund. Hidden charges like $200 "activation fee", limited traffic.

I paid $199 for an installer to come out through Starlink. They arrived and told me it would be another $193 in addition to what I already paid. While here, they made 2 holes in the wall of our brand new home and said they didn't know how to install it. We have no Internet and holes in our walls. I also can't get in touch with a real human at Starlink for a refund - everything is AI.
★☆☆☆☆ Don't bother with the Useless piece of plastic
★☆☆☆☆ – Overpriced, Deprioritized, and Poor Customer Support
I signed up for Starlink Mini Roam expecting high-speed, portable internet. In the first week, I saw over 100 Mbps speeds and was impressed. But after that, speeds dropped dramatically — averaging around 30 Mbps or less, even with full sky visibility, no obstructions, and light usage.
The real problem is deprioritization. Starlink confirmed that Mobile Roam users get lower priority than residential users, especially during peak times. The catch? They never made that clear during sign-up. You only find this out by digging through legal documents after you’ve already paid.
At $200 CAD/month, I expected priority service, not to be at the bottom of the queue behind users who pay less. Roaming should come with priority, not punishment.
When I raised this with customer support, they repeatedly told me my speeds were “within expected range” and refused any kind of refund or credit. They completely ignored the fact that this was not disclosed upfront, and that their own marketing implies fast, portable service anywhere.
I feel misled, overcharged, and dismissed. If you’re considering Starlink Roam, understand that you’re paying premium prices for second-class service, and don’t expect customer support to do anything about it.
Avoid it at all costs.
I opened a support request because my Internet is not working. The speed test shows great results, but in reality, I can’t even load a single video on YouTube. Since I work from home and urgently need a reliable connection, I opened a ticket — and the last reply I got was on June 28. It’s now July 3, and the problem hasn’t been solved. I've been completely ignored, and the ticket is still open.
I honestly don’t think I’ve ever received worse support for any product in my life. Never again with Starlink. Avoid it at all costs.
Want to charge me over $140 to cancel when under 30 day guarantee
I paid almost $400 to get service, hooked it up , fair internet at one spot it had me face the antenna north ( some obstruction,, I moved the antenna 340 feet north no longer had obstruction to the north but now it wants me to face it west nothing but obstructions internet fair but constantly dropping my WiFi calling ,, so I call to cancel acc under the 30 day money back guarantee, NOW they want me to pay over $140 to cancel acc !!! Do not get Starlink it’s a scam
Stay far away
Stay far away if you don't want to loose your money. I just find it very upsetting how the company is so big, and they charge so expensive for their equipment and service to not afford a better customer support. It's a big rip off. I bought their equipment little over $600 and paid monthly $150 and when I ran into issue with no instant support. I requested for credit and a cancellation request of my service going forward. They gave me a credit but they said that their company policy is that they can only apply credit to next invoice stating that I get a credit applied to the period after 9/26 - the date of cancellation from 10/6-11/6. I canceled on 9/26. Why are you billing me for 10/6-11/6 and saying you are applying the credit to that invoice. I kept opening a ticket - only way you can get support which takes more than a week to get response back and they will respond and mark as resolved and close a ticket.
starlink mini no high speed internet
starlink mini is not a high speed internet connection especially for the upload you only get 10 to 25 mbs upload most of the time
Loved the internet service from…
Loved the internet service from starlink it worked great for about a year. Then a the equipment stopped working. Customer service is a joke. You cannot talk to anyone, you have to submit a ticket. They keep marking the issue “resolved” when they have not even tried to resolve anything. It would be so simple to fix. I need a new modem. But you cannot speak to anyone. I have to have service so after 5 days of trying to speak to someone and getting nowhere, I cancelled starlink and am moving to another provider.
Bad customer service
Bad customer service
i submited the ticket for almost 6 days and still no response
They will charge you fully but can…
They will charge you fully but can restrict your access whenever they like and customer support simply doesn't exist.
Dreadful customer service
Dreadful customer service. Installed Residential here in Ireland. Alignment ok, but no internet and account 'restricted'. It seems that a wrong service location was assigned by Starlink. Raising support tickets achieves nothing. Mostly they are ignored. When a rare reply comes back, it is just a canned message not addressing the issue. Too much time spent getting nowhere. Will have to return the product. Very disappointing.
AWFUL!!!!!!
AWFUL!!!!!!! Paid $165 for a month of service and used 47 GB and that was all just trying g to get it to connect!!! EXPENSIVE for NOTHING!
USA consumers are getting a bad deal
USA consumers are getting a bad deal. In the EU they Are promoting no fee for equipment and a monthly plan of 40eu. In the USA it is 120$ and $349 for equipment. Like a lot of companies they price the highest in the USA and give other countries a deal. Bad form I say.

I have Starlink premium residency for 55$ in Panama. Good speed around 100mbits, with some rare connection problems (2sec all 30 minutes). Payment with credit card straight forward. I use a router with bypass mode. Dynamic DNS + IPTV + web cameras and VPN all is working perfectly.
That's the worst of the worst
That's the worst of the worst. The support is not support.
Such a beautiful concept...shame of the support issues
Awful customer experience! Such a great concept, with such a bad implementation, no wonder with such "leader" - and to be fair it's my mistake too, I've been "Musked" again after similar experience owning a Tesla! So I initially ordered a 50GB ROAM, I ate through all that in two weeks, fair enough. I upgraded to UNILIMITED ROAM but even after 5 days my router still appeared "restricted - no data left". Opened a ticket... nothing! no resolution, no communication in the past 2 days. I figured out there's someone else in another country that has a router connected to my account! i can see that by comparing router serial numbers. Wrote all that evidence into the ticket...no response for two days.
Update: after finally responding, and much to-ing and fro-ing, I received a new antenna which works. I'm now happy with the service. I will update the rating to three stars and hope I don't have to ever go through support again!
