I was very satisfied with the morning classes with Denis in Paris! I learnt a lot there.
But the afternoon class was so difficult because in this class I was in a class with students who had a much better level. My level is A2 and in the afternoon class there were students up to B2. This meant that the speed of the topics was determined by them and the afternoon course was of no use to me at all. It was a pity I didn't learn anything there.

The teachers I had- Caroline & Laurent were very dedicated and helpful with a good variety of activities. The time of year was probably not the best time because of weather and number of students. Student numbers were very small. This was good in terms of getting plenty of I dividual attention, but not in terms of meeting more people and getting a good cross section of skill levels. I also think two weeks was not long enough, but that was my choice due to time restrictions. I would suggest 3-4 weeks needed to start consolidating skills. The accommodation was a little too small and cramped. I would have liked more space with a separate desk / table to work. Nevertheless it was modern and everything worked well

Laurence is a first class language teacher. She made my week worthwhile - I wish I had had time to stay more weeks.

Hello I would love to write a feedback.
I need to say I was very disappointed
I specifically asked for a real begginers class and I was promised that it starts at 11.7. By real begginers I meant people who never studied french before and I repeated that several times. I was promised this level of class. Then I was put in a same class with people who already studied for 2-4 years being told that this is the only level they had. The assistant in the school told me that I can take some private lessons and then she told me that she will ask if it is possible through school. But it took her four days to tell me it was not possible while I was able to find a private teacher by myself in one afternoon
The school is extremely expensive and I didnt get what I was promised to get so obviously not being in my level just brought me stress and I didnt progress as I hoped
It feels to me like the school took advantage of me. If I knew there was not my level I would have found a different school

France Langue Lyon has some major issues. There was no reception or admin team present, just lots of nice big empty offices. Meanwhile us students were crammed into a small and very hot room - all 13 of us, above the maximum number advertised. Our class included very different abilities, certainly including A and B levels - I got the impression two levels had been put together due to staff shortage.
There were no extra cultural/social activities at all (except online) which was very disappointing. I was only there for a week but another student who'd been there ten months said this was normal.
On the plus side, our teacher (Marion) was absolutely amazing and handled the different ability levels and learning styles brilliantly: as a language teacher myself I learnt some great teaching tricks as well as improving my French with her expert guidance. She normally teaches at FL Nice, though, so I cannot comment on the teaching at FL Lyon. The course materials Marion provided were extremely high quality, and I enjoyed the variety of activities and approaches.
Overall, a great teacher but a school that needs to up its game.

The interactions with the students I met were amazing. as well as the animators which were really cool and the activities they organized were almost always top (especially the bouée tractée). the teacher and school were quite good as well.
The conditions in the host family on the other hand were terrible. dirty, small apartment with four students in two rooms even though we paid for a single room. no table, nor a chair in the room, only beds. 40 minutes walk to Biarritz even though we were promised 20. no breakfast. The dinner was prepared in such a way that my roommate and I ate out every night. this led to barely any interaction with the host lady. after 2 out of 4 weeks the only really good working thing (WI-FI) turned off as well.
on several attempts to change the host family followed no helpful response.
Overall still a good experience.

Really top-notch course: great tutors, very friendly staff, interesting and useful content. The accommodation was excellent. I was lucky enough to stay with a really lovely family, who made my stay an experience to remember.

My daughter was very happy with the FL experience. She met great friends, she had a good balance between language class and sport, in one of the best beach place in Europe. From a parent perspective, knowing they are in a safe and controlled environment is very good too.

I had nice teachers, but the institute is not organized.
It is not worth the money. It is better to find a cheaper institute.

Fantastic language school, excellent teachers, superb location in Biarritz. Only downside was the overflow classroom in another building. Coordinated excursions to nearby villages would also be fun, but I got to use my French going on my own. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Worst customer service ever! I paid for a long term course during morning and they suddenly change the classes to afternoon that I couldn't attend because I also work that time (the school no isn't able to manage many students and courses). They didn't want to refund because the terms doesn't allow refunds, but the incredible thing I paying for somenthing that I can't use.
Also I paid a lot of money for accommodation and it was misserable. I went to the school to talk to have a solution, they tell me some but they never accomplished.
Please be really careful when you choose a school, don't choose this one!

Overall a very good experience but you have to work on the qualification-test as it is way to easy right now and will put you and your students in unpleasant situations. Other than that I’m happy,
Merci beaucoup!

I had a great experience at FL. The school was in a nice location and the material was relevant. My favorite part of the school was the staff. They were very welcoming and friendly. My teacher Marine was stellar. She really cared about the students and their success. She was able to explain something in many different ways while still maintaining a constructive environment.

The position of the school is without discussion just amazing. Couldn't want more. The teacher's are rly nice and help you all the way. Overall the climate in the school is rly comfortable. The Infrastructure and building aren't the newest but that's just a really small contra.
