Sofa is firm to sit on but comfy & converting into a bed is quick,smooth & easy…plus additional storage area to pop cushions in or bedding. Our son has slept on it for the past couple of weeks & finds it spacious & comfortable…. It’s a good size dbl! I added a topper for extra softness. After a lot of research into sofabeds we are very happy with our purchase.

I was reluctant to order a sofa without sitting on it first but I'm really pleased we did, it's a lovely sofa and great quality. The customer service was excellent too

Great sofa and bed in one
I have a chronic illness and this sofa bed enables me to be in the lounge but also in bed when I need to be. Sooo comfortable, gorgeous colour - olive velvet- and looks really smart in the lounge.

I spent a long time trying to find the right sofa bed and I am so pleased that I found this company. The sofa is used daily by myself, my husband and our dog. It is firm but very comfortable as a sofa and our guests over the Christmas period, were very happy with the bed. The fabric just wipes clean and it is easy to convert from bed to sofa. The storage is an added bonus for keeping the bedding when not in use. It’s not the cheapest option on the market but the quality is fantastic and I’m confident it will last a long time.

My experience was great from ordering my single sofa bed from the samples I received and ringing to query if it was possible to deliver to the second floor with no lift staff very helpful My chair is very comfortable and easy to convert to a bed lovely material would definitely reccomend Stay in Bed

I spent a lot of time researching the perfect sofa bed. Not wanting the traditional mattress type one. This one is perfect, really easy to change from sofa to bed and so comfortable. Really great storage underneath as well - more than I expect. It's always a risk buying something on line, but I have definitely not been disappointed. Great customer service too!

I ordered a bespoke made to order Stay in Bed - sofa bed in Jan 2026 from a sample swatch . The service was so good From start to finish ,great customer service. The sales team provided me with all the options of fabrics and specifications ,answered all my questions ensuring it would fit my bedroom space and work with my decor. The delivery was on time and the team built my beautiful sofa bed. It is super comfy and so easy to set up. They also supplied me with a bespoke Egyptian cotton fitted bed sheet!! amazing !! Best nights sleep 😴

I’ve waited a while to leave this review as I wanted to test the sofa out properly before doing so. We’ve had our Grayson corner sofabed in Midnight Ivy for 3 months now and we are absolutely delighted with it!
The delivery was seamless, they told me on the day exactly when they would be there. Both men were really polite and friendly and put the sofa together with ease. They then took time to show me how to convert the sofa.
Since then we have been really pleased with it, it’s comfy both to sit on and sleep on and converts easily from sofa to bed. It also cleans easily! And therefore still looks great despite a couple of spillages. So pleased!

I have had my sofa since about June 2025, so feel like I can leave a honest review.
The sofa overall is beautiful and soft and comfortable to sleep in (if you like firm sofa bed). However, my sofa has now started to split on the side and the arm rest has a visible gap as it’s coming off, not even a year later. I contacted customer service who said it’s not a manufacturing fault and that it looks like pressure has been applied, so there for nothing they can do. The only pressure we have put is sitting/ laying down on the sofa and leaning on the arm rest as you would any sofa.
Probably not a sofa for every day use and more for show only.

I have already been through what you are suggesting in your reply and if weighting 80 kg and under is excessive, then a weight limit should be stated on your website.
We have not moved the sofa since it was placed by the delivery team. And no force nor excessive force has been made other than leaning on the arm will sitting or laying down.

So my conclusion is that if you want a sofa you can use on a daily this is NOT IT!

Lovely sofa bed, very happy with the fabric and looks really smart as a sofa in my spare room. Had friends staying over Christmas and they found it to be very comfortable. It's fairly firm as a bed but I'm OK with that. Also the 3 seater sofa turns into a surprisingly generously sized bed.
Delivery was excellent, guys happy to deliver upstairs and took time to show me the mechanism. Very happy, have recommended company to family and friends.

The sofa bed arrived as requested and was assembled for us. We are very happy with our purchase.

Given the cost the sofabed I was looking at I did my research before ordering, as I was nervous about having a) not sat or lay on it from a comfort perspective and b) whether the company would be reputable. Happily since receiving our order the choice was a great one!! Stay in Bed quickly sent me the requested fabric samples and we plumped for the olive green Austin Compact Sofa. Our order arrived within the expected timescales and Stay In Bed were very helpful when I called with a delivery enquiry. The delivery service was great and the sofa looks amazing, plus it’s very comfortable as well as easy to use. A added bonus is that you can store bedding internally when not a bed. I can’t wait for our first guests to come and enjoy a great nights sleep! Thank you!

I was scared of ordering such an expensive sofa from a company I didn’t really know. I kept searching on and off for nearly three years, but somehow I always ended up coming back to Stay In Bed.

Earlier this year I ordered fabric samples, half expecting them not to be worth the price — but I loved the quality. And the colours. After regretting a cheaper sofa I’d bought elsewhere before, I finally decided to go for it, hoping it would be worth it.

And oh my God — it is.

Best money we’ve ever spent. I love everything about it: the colour, the quality, the look and size. It’s so comfy we keep falling asleep on it. Even my usually grumpy teenage daughter said it’s the best sofa she’s ever sat on.

There are four of us (two teenagers) and we can all sit together and still feel comfy — even our big dog tries to squeeze in. We got the Greyson Corner sofa in Midnight Ivy and have had it for almost a month now. Can’t recommend Stay In Bed enough.

ohhh! I must add the delivery! It was ordered to be delivered before Christmas, so the most busy time of the year. I was petrified, as the only option for delivery to North West was 2 days slots, with possibilities to be deliver on Saturday, the day that we were away- delivery company went above and beyond, and they deliver our sofa on Friday morning, to make sure we will have it on Christmas! Even though they said, we are the last delivery in North West, and they probably won't be able to make it on Friday. And they not only delivered the sofa, but assemble it for us- took of the shoes, put blankets on our new floor, so it won't get damaged. It went so smooth, easy and quick.

From start to finish this has been a great experience. My fabric samples came quickly and my question about how the 30 day trial worked was answered quickly and fully and gave me the confidence to order online without having seen the sofa. I ordered the grayson corner sofa and I was given a 6 week lead time although it was ready a little earlier. The couriers fitted me for a delivery slot within 2 days of being told the sofa was ready. I'm lucky that I live in London and work from home so good availability. I got given a 3 hour time slot the day before and they arrived within that. They were quick to put the sofa together and took all the packaging away with them. The sofa is really lovely, both the design and the fabric. It's very comfy. I see other reviews have mentioned that it's on the firm side and I would agree but in no way too firm. I do not enjoy a sofa that is too squashy. It hasn't been used for any overnight guests yet but I did try out the mechanism which is really easy and smooth. Plenty of space under the longer section for double duvet and pillows. I'm sure it will make for a good nights sleep and I'll update my review when it's been slept on.

I researched all of the Sofa Bed companies, and I mean really really researched, I looked at everything, comparing price to build quality and Stayinbed won it hands down for me so I ordered (Yes I was a little reluctant to do so straight on-line but all the things they said to reassure me were completely 100% true). So the day came for it to arrive, I was excited as this sofa now completed loft conversion doubling as a music studio / man cave and another VERY COMFORTABLE double bed for guests. Anyway the delivery was fantastic and the guys insisted on taking it a bit more apart so not to scuff the newly painted walls. These guys were great and they both totally knew these sofas and it was fully assembled in no time, they then showed me how it worked as a bed and I must add that it is super smooth, quick and easy to pull out and put back (this engineering was part of my initial research and why I went with StayInBed). I love my Burnt Orange (fab colour) Oscar sofa bed. Oh yeah and it is a really comfortable sofa too..!!! Our cats love it and for some mystical cat like reason they dont scratch it, maybe they know I love it too... Also thank you to the Stay In Bed person that let me know when it was going to be delivered and organised the suitable time and date.... Amazing service.

Great product but poor service of installation where the bed was broken and no response from customer services when this was raised.
