Review Stay at The Nest in Duffryn

The accommodation served us very well. Very close to the MTB trails in Afan Forest Park. Good and functional decor, clean, bathroom comfortable, comfy beds, TV.

Not so good was the busy road right outside the front door as lots of motorists speeding past at 70. So a lot of noise also in the evening and at night and early in the morning - always! It is a pity that the large bedroom faces the street and not the back. Wifi would be worth investing in, but mobile reception was good.

Very nice contact with the property manager, really very accommodating and trustworthy. Also uncomplicated booking procedure and self check-in. Top!

Had a lovely stay at Taff Valley in Aberfan. Bright, modern property, spotlessly clean & everything was straightforward - clear & effective communication from host. Home well stocked with essentials, bedding very comfortable and great water pressure in the shower.

Lovely apartment all you need for a comfortable stay, we were mountain biking so your n the heart of the trails. We will definitely stay here again

This was an excellent stay and has made me rethink how I’d like to plan my future away days, especially with family. The freedom of space and planning to eat at any time was great.

This was an excellent place to stay for those interested in outdoor activities such as walking and biking .
Close to M4 so easy access to many things to do and see. Flat was clean and bright and great for dogs , although it is on the first floor and there is a steep set of stairs up to it so it may not be suitable for heavy older arthritic dogs .
Kitchen well equipped. We always take food essentials for a meal and breakfast and although there is a gift and delicatessen next door selling some food items our essentials came in very handy .
Definitely will be going back for a repeat visit , We had a fab time there and it excelled our expectations .

We had a great stay at The Cornish Nook. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for the week. The location is ideal, only a 10 minute drive to Trebarwith Strand beach. The cottage and log fire were really cosy- which was great as we had some pretty terrible weather! Overall would thoroughly recommend a stay at The Cornish Nook and we hope to be back soon.

We had a Nice place in a quiet street, very recent renovated

Our family of four has just enjoyed a great stay at The Trail. Lots of space and fantastic decking and conservatory looking out to the mountains. Excellent location for access to walking and cycling trails and easy reach to Swansea and Cardiff - masses of hot and wet weather options. Sarah and Tim have been personally attentive throughout - we’d definitely go back and recommend to others.

Had a lovely one night stay in Bristol in a cute, very well thought out mini apartment.
I had a question regarding my booking and was answered back straight away over WhatsApp -always my preferred communication method.
Would definitely love to stay again next time I’m in Bristol

Amazing fully equipped apartment in Camelford, the private parking touching the kitchen door is so comfortable! Great location for Cornwall tours, 15 min from Port Arthur and from Tintagle.

Sarah was a fantastic host, Nothing was too much trouble. Property was in a great location, defo be booking again if in the area

Recently stayed at this beautiful property in South Wales. House is beautiful with large rooms all well and newly decorated. Great for a base to venture out from but given its location and area not good for its you want to walk anywhere or see local town. Literally in middle of nowhere with no shops within walking distance. Having travelled from Scotland we were lucky to have a car to go back out as no usual welcome pack to start us off eg milk or bread. Also no instructions for using appliances so spent very frustrating amount of time Googling how to do so as when contacted the owner couldn't either. One hand towel between 2 bathrooms for a booking of 4 people also and we were not long in and the owners arrived to leave some toilet roll they had forgotten to. Also when we arrives there was some washed cups/glasses on the drainer which should've been cleared away before a new booking.
It was a lovely place but little touches here and there could improve it for future guests.

I stayed at a large house in Cymmer Port Talbot which was very spacious and decor very good.Parking on site was available and had a nice dog walk just across the road.The scenery was spectacular.Only down fall for us personally was it was a bit too far from Swansea where my son lives but apart from that was a lovely stay everything you could ask for.
