UNSAFE & UNSANITARY: A TOTAL NIGHTMARE
Staying here was a 24-hour ordeal that I wouldn't wish on anyone. The experience was a relentless accumulation of hygiene and safety failures. It began with the discovery of extreme filth: a dead mosquito on the shower wall, a heavily stained sofa, greasy residue in the drawer, and a fridge covered in dust and grime. Under the bed, I found a dead mouse, a dirty fork, and layers of old dust, while a greasy, sticky key had been left under the sofa. Even the trash bin was vile and moldy once the bag was removed.
The situation turned dangerous when I realized the front door was way too fragile (I could see the light from the corridor from the inside) and couldn’t be locked from the inside. Furthermore, the window wouldn't close properly, leaving me exposed to the cold and noise. I spent an hour shivering while searching for a thermostat that was meant to be on the wall according to the owner, but it was hidden behind a shelf on the heater itself. When I wanted to drink some water, I also found a broken glass that I almost used. The breaking point was finding bedbugs in the bed and near the curtains. As a former hostel worker, I knew exactly what they were as they bit my legs.
As a consequence of this total lack of safety and hygiene, I was unable to sleep for over 24 hours, as I had been awake since 3 am the day before to catch my flight. I spent the night standing by the door in absolute distress, waiting for sunrise just to flee, find emergency housing, and decontaminate all my belongings. Management MUST be aware of these issues given the other reviews, but they continue to use misleading photos to endanger guests. This place is a public health hazard and must be avoided, if not closed PERMANENTLY.
