Steals.com. I'm correcting my feedback! After mail corresponding with their Client service, they have resolved my problem and have acted as professionals, the Steals.com has refunded me all the money, and have not requested back the wrong item they'd send me. Compliments for the service, I didn't expected this professionality!

Unclear policies, inconsistent customer service

UPDATE: After I posted this review, the seller replied to my customer service inquiry immediately and sent a free return label. I mailed the jeans back, then waited over 2 weeks and still no refund. The USPS tracking number showed that the jeans had been delivered 10 days before I reached out to customer service yet again. Finally got my refund!!! Buying from this store was not worth the hassle! Additionally, I had to submit unsubscribe requests several times before I was actually unsubscribed. It was particularly insulting that they kept advertising "free returns" when the return process was so difficult!

INITIAL REVIEW: I bought 2 pairs of jeans. One was cancelled and refunded. The other pair arrived as expected, but even though they were labelled a size 2, I was swimming in them (I actually measured the waist as a 28 when it was supposed to be a 26)! I figured I would just return them, but found out that I would need to pay $9.42 to initiate the return (the jeans were only $35). In reading their return policies, they claim that you get free returns minus the shipping fee, but I never paid a shipping fee because my original order was $70. Based on the return form, it also seems that I was supposed to pay extra money to get "free & easy returns," even though all their marketing materials advertise free returns. I reached out to customer service, but the replies simply tell me over and over the link to use to start a return, not addressing my actual concerns... and we're back where we started!

Bought an item but order was cancelled

Update: Steals.com refunded the $2.98 as well. Updating the star rating.

Bought a pair of Nike shoes and paid an extra $3.00 for "Free & Easy Return for Refunds or Store Credit". I guess if you don't pay the $3.00, you can't return the item?
Several days later, received a notification that they are cancelling my order and refunding the purchase price. They didn't have the item in stock, but never updated their website. However, the $3.00 wasn't refunded, so they just took my order, cancelled it, and pocketed $3. The name of the website is accurate as a verb.
