Comfortable and durable
I have bought these boots for as l9ng as they have had them. By far the most comfortable work boots I've ever owned. I can be on my feet for a 12 hours shift and I feel good by the end still. They dont melt around the glass furnace I work around and dont soak my feet when we have cleans. I will absolutely continue to buy pair after pair (and in every color they have!) As long as they have them.
Good quality
Great experience overall! The website was easy to use, fast, and well-designed. Shipping was quick and reliable, and the boots are great quality — definitely worth it. A little pricey for me, but I can’t complain because the quality really shows!”

These are by far the best work boots I have had in the 26 years of working in the industry. They do not require a break in period and are comfortable from the beginning.

Disappointing Product Quality and Customer Service Response
I purchased Steel Blue work boots in January 2024 in Australia and have only been wearing them for the past three months. Unfortunately, after such a short period of use, I noticed significant wear, especially on the tongue and heel area of the left boot. This level of damage is very disappointing, especially given Steel Blue’s reputation for durable, high-quality work boots.
To address the issue, I first contacted Steel Blue directly, but I was informed that the warranty would not apply because the boots were purchased over a year ago. However, the boots have only been worn for three months, and the damage appears to be a result of manufacturing defects, not regular wear and tear.
Following that, I reached out to "Workwearhub", the retailer from which I purchased the boots, and they were the only ones to offer a solution—they proposed a 20% discount on new boots, though this offer does not address the core issue of premature wear.
Given the reputation of Steel Blue, I expected a more supportive response to this quality issue, rather than being told to contact the retailer. I have not yet returned the boots, as I was hoping to resolve this directly with Steel Blue, but I am now left feeling frustrated by the lack of adequate resolution.
Zip failure after 4 weeks
On second pair of steel blue zip boots (mens). Bought the current pair in Dec 2024, started using them indoors workshop in Jan, and zipper failed after only 4 weeks. I checked with a local cobbler, who told me it was a common fault he came across with these boots.

Very comfortable to begin with, the zip on the side is handy but the velcro stopped working on the strap after 2 weeks so just flapped around all the time, then the material where the top cap is started collapsing and became unwearable,I returned them to get a replacement and after one month same thing happened,I wouldn't recommend for concreters or anyone in wet conditions, their built comfortable not tough

I’ve been an electrician for over 14 years, starting as an apprentice at 16, and in that time, I’ve worn a wide range of work boots. Unfortunately, the Blue Steel work boots have not met the standard I expect, especially given their price point. I’ve worn these boots for a few months now, and I’ve rolled my ankle three times, leading to a serious foot injury.
After consulting with a podiatrist, it was confirmed that these boots were the cause of my issues due to their complete lack of ankle support. I’ve since switched to Alt-Berg boots, which cost me £170, and I haven’t had any problems since. This confirmed that the Blue Steel boots were the root of the problem.
While I’m sure these boots might be fine for light use, they are not fit for purpose when working 12-hour shifts in a heavy-duty, professional environment. If you’re in the trades and need something reliable, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. You shouldn’t compromise on foot safety, and these boots simply don’t provide the necessary support.

Bought the boots 6 months ago
Bought the boots 6 months ago. Lovely and comfortable but they are splitting along where the sole meets the cloth part. I have got more wear out of a boot that costs half the price. Very disappointed

Best boots
I got these boots around a month ago...I work in a steel company loading flatbed trailers with all types of steel products. I'm up and down onto trailers, forktrucks, all day and these boots prove to be tough, and more importantly, comfortable. Plus they have the zip up sides which make it easier to get on and off. Thanks a million!
I love my new Steel Blue Boots

Great boots for fire and EMS service
I used to wear the other Australian brand. I looked for an alternative after their supply chain issues got worse and then got even worse. I got a pair of non-safety Hobart slip on. As a member of a very busy municipal fire service I’ve put These Boots to test. After trying to find a fault, I have to say the Hobarts are the best slip boot I’ve ever worn. Hard and soft alike the boots have held up are super comfortable and look great. Their customer service has been outstanding. I have recommended these to my crew and they are experiencing the same, I will buy more
Dont be a sucker
Some yrs ago I wrote a review on how the soles fall apart and it seems its still happening. This company needs to get its act together and review its product manufacturing methods... obviously it just doesn't care as long as suckers keep buying...take a look at these reviews in product review website!

Didn’t even last a year which is not good enough in my opinion as much cheaper boots have lasted longer than this. Customer services aren’t responding to my emails, I expect much more from a company as big and expensive as this !
