Tried to buy two servers from them…
Tried to buy two servers from them today list at £775 and in stock. I thought I'd check before sending money to them. A guy called Paul Simpson (Business Development Manager) got back to me. Yes they have them and they're £975. When I questioned this £200 increase from a website listing with "in stock" written next to them, he said "oh you know how it is with the world?" No, I don't! It's 2026, who doesn't keep their prices up to date? When pushed he said in a northern accent, "website must be wrong. I don't do the website". Well, that's fine then..... He then started shouting over me. Dreadful

We have dedicated account managers available to provide more accurate pricing and it sounds like a price was given very promptly but unfortuantly our cost price from distribution had increased.
Please note that the pricing details on this item do clearly state:

While generally consistent, this can shift with supply conditions or manufacturer updates. All pricing displayed on our site reflects the latest vendor guidance and current market availability.”

Daniel is very approachable and I dealt with him when acquiring firewalls for my org. This is my first review on trustpilot so I appreciate it may look illegitimate however I have never felt the need to write a review before, the reliability and personal touch Daniel has with his customers is unparalleled and I wish I saw more of it.

Steel City Consulting supplied the UPS…
Steel City Consulting supplied the UPS we were after at the lowest price. We tried other companies such as eBuyer (our main supplier) but they charged about 30% more.
Delivery was quick and we also managed to get a credit account setup quickly which was great.
