I joined stepn in 2023, it's way too expensive and impossible to make any money. They nickel and dime you constantly. The tracking is super inconsistent. They change rules and the cost of things all the time. Trying to upgrade a gem costs 50 gst, 3 matching gems and has 75% chance of failure. I have 5 pairs of sneakers. I now can't even log in to sell out if it. I've contacted stepn but after over 36 emails they can't do anything. They just waste your time asking for you to record every step in order with screenshots on your phone, the app, the web, on your computer then it's not enough and they want you to video it all. This feels like a rug pull. I've completely given up.

The developers are unprofessional; just withdrawing money costs hundreds of GST. I'm very disappointed that I've lost my investment. The developers of STEPN GO created the game solely to extort money from users.

I want to give -10 points for this. In my opinion a total scam and nothing more. I invested when it was launched, but shortly after it went to hell. Now even just to transfer you have to spend 50 GTS - it used to be around 5. All I want is to sell the stupid shoe - for that I need GMT to buy stupid diamonds to fix the shoe, which seems impossible with the amount of GTS I have to gather to be able to do that... Im so sick of this app!

This platform or this project is scam.
Don't invest in that scam coins.

Be careful they will falsely accuse you of cheating, not tell you why and will lock your account with thousands of $ investment. It's a scam do not give them your money.

Scam , they earn from crypto exchanges by crashing customers

stepn aap have so much issues, poor with step counts, and earning is too low, app just show bot use, this is fake aap i also keep to do review for my youtube viewers, dont install this app, i wasted alot of money in this application

The team doesn’t respond to questions. It started out as a game but now that they made money off of the first users the Stepn app has stopped their development now only focussing on pointless nfts which are cheap but does not bring any value or progress to the app. Now I am having trouble transfering Sol out of the app. It seems Stepn was a scam after all.

This app turned out to be a complete waste of time and money and borderlines being a scam. There is zero support. Every time I go for a workout I use a trainer sneaker and go for GMT. And for every 4 out of 5 walks it claims I'm a bot. How conveniently when my earnings is more than 2GMTs this completely sucks.

I have send them screenshots and an account for the past few times this has happened. With zero response I have been using this app for more than year and this is how they treat a loyal customer.

Do not waste your money or time.

Amazing. I shared an honest concern on Discord and within 2 minutes I was banned from the server for "FUD comment". You are not allowed to express any negative thoughts cuz you get banned. The thought I got banned for was that you can put money in the app but not take out - because an HP system that was implemented and it was new for me. It's better to skip this app and community. One bad word and you are banned for life from their server. Wow!

Stepn is a terrible scam. Everything from my account just disappeared. Thousands of $USD - inexplicably just gone. There is no way to contact anyone associated with the team other than thru the feedback button in the app. I did that. Over 2 months later I was told I probably didn't take good enough care of my account.

My seed phrase is written down on a piece of paper in hidden in my bedroom. Not another living sole knows it. My password exists in my head only. There is no possible way my account could have been compromised.

After my experience, it didn't take long for me to find scores of other people in the same situation. Its beyond suspicious. I suspect the Stepn team just robbed me. I thought that they were just incompetent and greedy up to this point, but now I suspect they're criminal as well.

Stepn is a scam. It will leave your pockets empty and with zero recourse. Do yourself a favour and RUN THE OTHER DIRECTION, far far away from this Ponzi scheme run by crooks.

Stepn turned out to be the unsophisticated ponzi scheme we (the user base) suspected but didn't want to believe.

The team run a very active campaign of miscommunication. They delete all 'negative' or critical comments on all social platforms and regularly disable comments and downvotes because they are overwhelmingly negative and the Stepn ponzi can only survive with an influx of new users.

Like so many others, my sneakers disappeared from my wallet. I raised a ticket (the only way to get in contact with anyone from the Stepn team) and it went unanswered for 3.5 months now. They same thing happened with me with a small amount of GST and they wrote back to me after 3 months to tell me there was nothing they could or would do.

Stepn is clearly a very slow rug pull: every decision the Stepn team makes is to drive out more users so that the team can just move onto their next scheme (which they have already half-cooked - it's called MOOAR and you should absolutely stay away from that as well).

People earning USD doesnt feel anything. Because im from a third world country my money was about 5 times smaller than USD. I spent about 15,000 dollars in my currency for NFT and one day my account was logged out and the time i came back in, all NFT was gone. Submitted ticket and respond was easy for the admin. We are sorry that we are unable to retrieve the NFT that was sold by the hacker. It is your system prone to hacker and you just tell your investor that it was their fault to let hacker hacked. 15,000 dollars (USD3500) in my currency can let me buy groceries for 50months. I can said this is my first investment in my life and i lost EVERYTHING!! well all those crypto price also dropped till no value so even if i have my NFT. it was worth less than 500 dollars now. Its a scheme where they took your money and pay the older investor. in the end you lose money :)

I have installed my Stepn app in a new phone and imported the wallet using the seed phrase. The funds on the wallet have vanished. The app never imported the old wallet and just created a new one.. no support customer available to help to recover my funds. This is a Glitch from the app and they don’t resolve it

Probably the least favorite crypto project, of course even if you did your own research, their lack of customer care is mind-boggling. I have opened about 10 tickets in the last 6 months, 0 were responded. Them turning off instagram comments to prevent showcase of bad vibes is just over-the-top, incredibly disappointing project and team from Stepn.

Smart scam, but still scam

I purchased about 14 sneakers over 7 weeks.

I purchased 4 sneakers to level up so that I could sell them later for more money. I was also using up all of my energy each day doing walks and runs.

The mystery boxes you get walking and running are a joke, even with 9 energy. It costs more to open most of them than what you get inside of the box.

The developers are constantly changing the rules and adjusting prices for everything.

At first we were supposed to be able to earn GMT when you leveled your sneaker up to level 30… got my first sneaker to 30 and was told “nah, we don’t do that… yet.”

I sold a few of my sneakers and bought some new ones so I could level them up and then sell them for more money… about a week after I did that they raised the prices again for leveling up shoes. With the new prices I lost money buying the new sneakers and would have been better off with the old ones.

They DO NOT CARE about their current users. All they care about is expanding to new realms.

The discord channel has had so many people complaining they are banning people now for saying anything negative.

People are having their wallets hacked and all their stuff stolen and it’s taking support 3-4 weeks just to reply for the first time!

DO NOT BUY IN TO STEPN!!!
