The product is simple and stylish
The product is simple and stylish. We love being able to put a book out that we forget to look at. Now we can walk by and flip a few pages and admire the art in the book for a few days and then flip to another page. It's a great way to make larger art books you have more available to you. The beauty of the stand is in its simplicity. It disappears. And you kind of hate that because it's so beautiful.

The initial communication was quite lacking but once I began an inquiry the communication was great.
Overall a positive experience. For international buyers, be aware that a mistake on fees and duties from UPS could occur. Stet Studios is working to resolve this for me though.

Classy stands, robust and good value

Be aware of high additional delivery fees
The Product itself seems solid and good. However, the shipping process is terrible and expensive and a scam: I originally bought the product for 65 Euro, but then had to pay 19 Euro for shipping (which is expensive but I accepted). But then there was an additional fee of 37 Euro to get the Package released by UPS (and it is below the treshold for customs/import taxes, so not sure what those fees are for). Therefore in the end, the product costed me almost double than the inital Price (121 Euro instead of 65 Euro). If I had known this, I never would have bought it.

To clarify: we don’t add or keep any import duties/fees. Orders to Switzerland ship DAP (Delivered At Place), which means UPS may charge customs clearance/administration (“brokerage”) and advance fees at the door, even when the parcel is below the duty/VAT threshold and no tax is due. Those carrier fees are outside our control and aren’t included in the €19 shipping you paid at checkout (that covers transport only).
That said, we absolutely get that this feels frustrating. If you share your order number and the UPS invoice with us, we’ll review it with UPS to ensure everything was billed correctly and see if there’s anything we can do on our side. You can reach us at hello@stetstudios.com.
We’re also updating our Switzerland checkout messaging to make these potential UPS fees clearer upfront.
