Knowledge is power especially from dedicated and well informed trainers.
Both presenters simplified all the jargon and concepts, giving real life examples to make us understand. They provided slides and pictures to demonstrate and give value to pertinent strategies used and to enable us to embrace information shared. No refund, long wait times, expensive, unreliable, change of dates
I attended a free course and Steve and his team added pressure on us to purchase the paid course at a discount price, there and then in the session. I also noticed from other reviews he has charged different prices. Some customers got the course for less than what my group paid in a period of 4 months. I attended and paid for the course in June. I had to wait until August for the training. A long wait time! The sessions are mainly during the week when a good fraction of people need to take annual leave. There's only a few dates available on the weekend. I received a call to say the course date has been pushed back to September which is unacceptable 3.5 months waiting. I asked for a refund, as this is not what I signed up to and purchase. I was told they will not be refunding me my money. Under their T&C they can move the dates. Avoid this dishonest company. They're unreliable and feel they can do whatever they want. Imagine purchasing a course whereby they can change the date whenever to suit them, at any point in time and they can change it many times over months and years. Also the course is expensive, I paid approx £300. Long wait times and change of dates last minute and no refund. I now need to contact my bank and report the case to trading standards. Read the small print before paying and be careful with courses and people who advertise via instagram. There’s a lot of educators who are not focused on cashing in more then their reputation. Steve’s academy is not one. He has all the talk, in the session he said he cares about his reputation more than money and if people are not happy he will refund their money. Far from the truth in the session he gets you to pay for the session without giving you time to think about and read the agreement. He will say it’s at a discount price and I will throw in all these gifts including my book. Don’t fall for it. Some people have paid £99 and others have paid different amounts like £300. Report this to trading standards. No business in the UK should be trading with dishonest practices. We have the consumer rights act! My interaction was with Noemi and Reki. It’s was Noemi who said I will not be refunded and they can change the course date whenever they want.
Update to response:
- Offer different promotional offer? So within a month of the session before, the price went up by £100 or whatever it is for different sessions? You call that a ‘promotional offer’? I have never heard of a bonafide company changing their prices on a monthly basis. That’s something a dishonest company would do.
- what bonus are you referring to? Are you saying because you rescheduled the course it’s a bonus? Let’s be clear here, people paid for a service to be delivered within reasonable time and on an agreed date. That’s not a bonus. That’s the agreement! If you’re referring to the material, again you advertised that as your offering, the product being sold. So this is not a bonus, it’s the package you marketed and the product you sold which people brought. So let’s not make as if you done any favours and customers should be grateful for a product they paid for.
- You have missed the point. I paid for a course to be delivered on a specific date according to my schedule not Steve’s schedule. That does not mean you can change it whenever, without my agreement and at any point within the 12 months.
- It doesn’t matter what your T&C states. Under the consumers rights act. The course was not delivered within a reasonable time and on the agreed date. As a provider you failed to adhere to the agreement. A course with a long lead time, is of no use to me. I never purchased a course with a moving date, it was agreed. The course was misrepresented and mis-sold.
- Steve’s property reported my content as defamatory content, even though this is my experience and I have written proof. Trust Pilot rejected the claim
