Had a problem with a battery powered…

Had a problem with a battery powered hedge trimmer, 6 months old, returned it to the Sthil agent that it was purchased from for repair, it was eventually repaired ut took 4 months, in this time I contacted Sthil customer service for some assistance, they asked lots of questions and eventually sent me a list of authorised agents, it was already with one, a compete waste of time.

We bought a Sthil robotic mower the…

We bought a Sthil robotic mower the worst thing I ever bought it did not work from day one it was at the dealers work shop more that I had it we had to cut the grass with a push mower for most of the 4 years which took 3 hours each time , We had a Honda ride on wish I had never sold it, I am disabled getting on and off the mower was a problem for me. The dealer took the robotic away to send back to Stihl they had it in there workshop for a year before they sent it back to Stihl we were left to hand cut the grass. I phoned Sthil
they were of no help, you would have thought that they would have sorted this out but no! We paid about £2800 for this useless machine .
I would not recommend anybody to buy one of this machines needless to say we have gone back to a ride on it cuts the grass brilliant no problems. I get somebody to cut the grass for me, I have lost the money on that useless machine which is a big loss for meI am 73 year old I have been scammed. We were ready to take the dealer to court then they went burst in January this year this has been a 4 year battle with the dealer and Sthil

Stihl MS261 Chainsaw

Purchased the £795 MS261 Chainsaw, top of the range that’s supposedly made for professional use. I bought this 3 months ago for domestic use and only used it occasionally. It has since stopped working.

I bought Stihl as I think it makes quality products and it is the total opposite! A machine made for professional use, broke while used for domestic purpose! What’s worse is, it is still under warranty and Stihl would not repair or exchange for a new one. They actually asked me to purchase a new one! This is a joke!!

The customer service is appalling, and I would urge anyone thinking of purchasing a Stihl to stay away. Bad quality products, Bad customer service! No longer the Stihl it used to be.

I have been using sthil products for…

I have been using sthil products for many years. My company uses there hedge cutters, blowers, strimmers and kombi units.
I have always found them a good company.

5 weeks ago I brought a new kombi unit, it was faulty from day one.
I took it to a sthil repair centre, to be looked at, they said there was an issue with carburettor. Sthil told them to replace some parts . But found out they were out of stock . Due in in 5 days. Now found out won’t be in till at least end of June. ( if I’m lucky)
Phoned sthil, still waiting to see what they are doing.

How a company thinks it’s acceptable to make someone wait so long to fix a faulty product is ridiculous.

Seems you only know how bad a company is when you need there customer service, or la k of it.
