Stillrichard backpack

I recently got the StillRichard backpack, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with it. For this price range, the quality of the leather is impressive and definitely worth the purchase. The laptop compartment is large enough to fit my 15.3” Lenovo 7i Aura, even with an additional protective shell.

The only problem I’ve had so far is with the straps. Since I’m on the shorter side, tightening them doesn’t raise the backpack high enough, which makes it uncomfortable to carry. That said, this can be easily fixed by having a professional trim the excess strap length.

One aspect that does concern me is the zipper they don’t appear to be water-resistant, which might be a problem in wet conditions.

To sum it up>

Design: 10/10
Built quality: 8/10
Price/quality: 8/10

Just beware that you might have to spend around 20 dollars more to make it really your.

Could be better at that price

I had their Ryder backpack for a month, and so far it has two major drawbacks.

First, most of the time it is not possible to have the main compartment completely closed. Especially when having half-full backpack, then is even bigger problem. Very annoying, since it is visible what's inside, second, rain and dust get inside, where often valuable items are carried. I think I will have to install a zipper myself.

Second, the buckle does not hold position, and every time when wearing the backpack need to be readjusted.

I expected it to be more thought-trough product overall.

I'm aware that we had a conversation on email about this bag. Since the bag had no damage and the 'mistake' you mention, especially with the closure with
no zipper, is part of the design, we could not offer a refund on a used bag. I am sorry that you are not satisfied with the design of the bag you ordered. We of course always wish to give everyone a good experience with our bags, but not all designs fit everyone's needs.

not cheap, but decent (i think)

Not cheap, but the first week i tested my bag it feels decent quality. The only part i'm doubting it will last long are the zippers, due to stiff movement. I hope this case will last me a decade. Transport took around 3 business days, which is fine and only 10 euros for a 1000km trip.

Other downside i find on this case is that there is no service included for the leather to last as long as possible (like buckle of fat, brush, ...)

Site is decent, quick and easy payment. For now i would recommend to buy with this experience i had.
