Don’t Delay In Booking!
Just completed a first aid refresher course in Worthing and it was brilliant. I got to practice and refresh my skills. It has given me more confidence to take back to my workplace and put in to practice. Highly recommended.

First aid course at Sidcup
Today's first aid course at Sidcup was very well delivered by Steve Cox. Thank you very much.
Just completed my first ever First Aid…
Just completed my first ever First Aid course with St John’s Ambulance in Ipswich and I couldn’t recommend it enough.
Laura Oxford was an absolute powerhouse of a trainer — fun, interactive, caring and brilliantly knowledgeable all rolled into one. She made everyone feel completely at ease while still getting across just how important first aid is and the difference it can make.
I’d never done a first aid course before, but I left feeling genuinely empowered.
Huge applause to Laura for creating such a supportive, engaging and memorable course.
Quite frankly I wish I could do it all over again. 👏
EFAW - Weston Super-Mare
I took part in the EFAW course last friday which was led by Cathy Avery. All I can say is that she was fantastic. She explained emergency first aid in a way that was coherent and understandable. Practical experience was provided with each area of emergency first aid and Cathy ensured we were competent before we moved onto the next section. It was a thoroughly pleasurable experience and I would recommend to anyone looking to develop their ability to respond to emergencies.
Excellent first aid for schools…
Excellent first aid for schools training at Redhill run by Stewart. Stewart got to know all of our roles and ensured it was catered to this. He also highlighted some relevant examples in his own experience of where each technique could be deployed. I left feeling a lot more confident and the materials and venue were great.

Derby, Trinity street
Derby, Trinity street training centre. Just completed a 3 day First Aid At Work course. Lovely training centre, clean, tidy,Well equipped. Steve Quinby led training on the 1st and 3rd day. Thorough, knowledgeable, included everyone and observed the room for anyone that was unsure.Everyone said how amazing he was on breaks too. On the 2nd day we had Stacey who was upbeat, fast paced, lively and cheerful and highly knowledgeable too. All three days were well planned and delivered to a perfect schedule. Everyone was happy(11 of us). All of us said what a fantastic course it was too. Thoroughly recommend to any employer or individual. More indepth review on their centre website if anyone is going with this particular one. Would give 10 stars if I could as 5 doesn't seem enough.
3 day First Aid at Work. Ipswich (Laura)
I have just completed my 3 day first aid at work course with Laura at Ipswich and it was brilliant! Laura is such a good trainer - her knowledge and experience shine through, she’s so approachable too so any questions were encouraged answered. We had a lovely group who by day two all felt comfortable sharing personal experiences which I think is testament to the sensitive way Laura approached us. We had practicals, quizzes, group work…it was never dull
Look after Laura, Ipswich St John’s, she’s a gem!

Great course
First Aid at Work, who knew it could be fun. Laura at Crown House Ipswich was fantastic, learnt so much and very thorough right the way through the 3 days. Explained everything clearly and I feel I have gained so much knowledge from her, feeling comfortable in all I have learnt. First time doing a First Aid course and I really enjoyed it. Great valuable skills. Highly recommend.
St John's first Aid course, Ipswich, Laura
My 1st time doing a first aid course.
The class was instructed by Laura at Ipswich Crown House.
First of all Laura needs the praise for how well she run the course. Very informative and using her own extensive experience, Laura included everyone, bringing others into conversations, interacting with all of us. I think that made us bond as a group and make this whole experience fantastic! It was at times close to home and emotional, but the way Laura handled these small incidents with compassion was absolutely lovely to watch.
Overall the course was very good, covered loads of aspects which all relate to my work and will help if such accidents or incidents occur.
Highly recommend St John Ambulance for first aid courses.
I already cannot wait to return in 3 years for a refresher and hopefully with the amazing Laura again!!
It's a great place to train, I can say that easily
What made the experience great? Easy! The instructor is amazing, he's very real & practical, uses relatable scenarios and helps your imagination pop into real life scenario mode.
For the 1st time I was able get a good pulse reading on my own wrist.
The training room is not bad, the mannequins are practical, it's all good.
Just completed my first aid training…
Just completed my first aid training refresher with St John ambulance at King Charles hotel Gillingham and the Assessor Paul Haynes did a great job of keeping the course interesting and fresh with he’s own brand of cheesy humour and knowledgable explanations of the topics that we covered.
All on the course were engaged throughout and I thoroughly enjoyed the course.
Thanks Paul

I’m recommending Trudy in St John’s Ambulance Ossetian to everyone!
Just completed 3 day training in Ossett and Trudy is absolutely fantastic! She engaged the full group and gave us platform to share our experiences and worries. Her teaching style and energy is admirable, I haven’t met such a talented tutor in a very long time. I built up my knowledge and confidence to step up when help is needed, with Trudy’s enthusiasm and encouragement. Time on the course flew by so quickly! Thank you Trudy, you’re an amazing asset to your company!
I had my first aid training with Dom at…
I had my first aid training with Dom at St John’s Bury St Edmunds and it was absolutely brilliant. Dom made the whole course engaging, easy to follow, and full of real-life examples that really stuck with me. He explained everything clearly, had a great sense of humour, and kept everyone involved throughout. What could have been a long day felt enjoyable and valuable. I left feeling confident and well-prepared to use the skills if ever needed.
Thank you, Dom, for making the training such a positive experience — highly recommend!
