more focused on sales strategies than on patient care

I contacted the clinic via WhatsApp to schedule a hair transplant. I was then put in touch with the doctor who would perform the procedure, and he seemed very helpful. To be fair, I mistakenly assumed the consultation would be free — as it is in all hair transplant clinics. Moreover, the clinic’s website makes no mention whatsoever of a fee for this consultation, and neither the commercial assistant nor the doctor informed me about it. Anyway, I went to the clinic for the consultation.
The doctor was clearly knowledgeable, but soon started talking about shampoos and products he could sell me. He gave me a quote, and I told him I needed some time to think about it and would give him an answer the next day. I was then escorted to the reception. On my way out, the receptionist asked me for a €1000 deposit for the transplant. I repeated that I wanted more time to consider. Right after that, she asked me for €60 for the consultation. I was visibly surprised, and the doctor stepped in to reduce the consultation fee to €30. I paid and left.

Conclusion:
In my view, this clinic gave me the impression of being more focused on sales strategies than on patient care, and I personally found this approach very disappointing.

As a final note, after posting this review, the clinic even contacted me threatening legal action for defamation if I didn’t delete it — which, in my opinion, says a lot about how they handle criticism.
