Overall, this is a great service. I use it to compare historical returns of ETFs and Mutual Funds. Its primary strength, compared to other services I’ve tried, is that it often can obtain data from a variety of sources. This makes it possible to compare the data for accuracy and missing data points. Two suggestions would really help in this endeavor:
1) Option to compare dividend and/or adjusted prices across data sources to look for differences
2) REST interface to make it easy to download the data
One more note: even with access to multiple sources of data, I’ve found occasional missing data for some symbols. But this is true for all the services I’ve used; it’s less of a problem with this site than others I’ve checked.

For my trading, stockanalysis.com has the best stock screener available. I've investigated several public stock screening tools and without question, the filters available on stockanalysis.com allow selecting stocks that match my goals. Using this stock screener, I am able to identify investing opportunities on my own without any outside input.

Choosing the right stock analysis app in 2025 depends heavily on whether you are looking for technical charting, fundamental research, or a beginner-friendly all-in-one platform.
Based on current reviews, here is a breakdown of the top-rated apps by category:
1. Best for Technical Analysis & Charting
• TradingView: Widely considered the gold standard for charting. It offers the most advanced mobile charts, hundreds of technical indicators, and a social community for sharing trade ideas.
Best for traders who want to automate their analysis. It uses AI to draw trendlines and detect patterns, though it is geared more toward intermediate to advanced users.
Best for Fundamental Research & Data
The best "middle ground" app. It provides a massive amount of free data on financial statements, statistics, and historical performance.
• Seeking Alpha: Excellent for deep-dive analysis. It features articles from thousands of independent analysts and a "Quant Rating" system that scores stocks based on growth and value.
Specifically designed for casual investors who want complex financial data simplified into easy-to-read "Zen Scores" and visual infographics.
Best for Beginners & Portfolio Management
• Fidelity: Often rated as the best "all-arounder." It balances institutional-grade research reports with a modern mobile interface that is easy for newcomers to navigate.
Still the leader for ease of use. While its analysis tools are basic, its interface is the cleanest for those who just want to track prices and execute simple trades.
Uses unique "snowflake" visualizations to show a company's health at a glance, making it very helpful for visual learners.

This is the best website for stock analysis. The website contains all of the information that a person could want or need, no matter the size of their portfolio. I especially like the Analyst Ratings, as well as the future annual and quarterly Revenue Growth and Earnings Per Share Growth forecasts. The History tab for each stock, ETF or Mutual Fund allows Investors to analyze the Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly or Annual prices over the period of time that they choose. The Pro version allows Investors to bulk add stocks to watchlists for comparison purposes. Investors are able to edit their views of the different tabs of the Watchlists in order to have the information that they need to select the stocks that they are investigating for their portfolio.

Pleased with the individual stock ratings and the analysis presented for each one. The Watchlist a big plus.
