It came well wrapped and protected. He hasn't switched it on yet - so I am praying all will be well - but judging on my experience so far I am feeling positive

I purchased a laptop from this company for £300+ and experienced issues almost immediately. The laptop initially arrived without the correct charging cable, which I had to source myself. While the cost was later reimbursed, it was an early red flag in terms of quality control. 5 months in the laptop’s battery deteriorated significantly and the device then stopped working entirely.
I contacted the company and was instructed to return the laptop using my own postage, which I did, to the address they provided. I supplied proof of postage and the tracking reference.
The company is now claiming they never received the parcel and is refusing to issue a refund, instead directing me to resolve the matter with Royal Mail. How convenient, right! I’m out hundreds of pounds for a faulty laptop, with no refund, and no real support.

Very good experience, good price & well packaged with fast delivery, cant go wrong

I was after a reasonably priced ThinkPad X1 Carbon laptop for my son. Having reasonable specifications in a light laptop were more important than a brand new shiny laptop with lower performance or heavier weight.
I wanted to ensure that the screen was not damaged and that no functional parts were missing. The description combined with other reviews assured me that this laptop would be ok. The delivery was fast and the laptop meets my expectations. There is vinyl used on the lid and the wrist rest (i.e. all around the keyboard and trackpad) which I've not seen on previous refurbished ThinkPads I've bought but I think is an acceptable refurbishment and the vinyl is applied well and hardly noticeable in use.
While I'm leaving my son to setup Windows 11 when he gets it, I tested that everything works using a Linux Mint USB stick.

A dent on the underside and an obvious mark on the lid did not in my opinion warrant an excellent grading. A request for a vat receipt has not been actioned after 24 hours.

We are really happy with our refurbished Macbook Air from Stock Must Go. It arrived very quickly, was very well packaged and was in even better condition than I expected. Got everything up and running this evening and it's all is working very well. Thanks!!!

I bought a preowned dell laptop only for it to stop working after the warranty period and SMG wouldn't accept it back. I am not buying anything from them anymore

I bought the Dell 7420 from SMG, and I was really satisfied with the experience. I ordered a second-hand laptop as an emergency replacement. Ordered on Saturday night and arrived on Tuesday morning. So it's quick enough to meet my needs. In addition, the quality of the laptop was really good, better than I expected. Although the website was saying the laptop would be in excellent condition, it is almost like a brand-new laptop, with a battery health of around 86%, which is considered pretty good for a 3 to 4-year-old laptop.
One thing I wasn't too happy about is that the charger provided is an HP charger, which isn't the same brand as the laptop.
Overall, the shopping experience was good for me. But I did notice there are mixed reviews online. This is the first time I've bought from SMG, so I can't guarantee that the quality of their stuff is consistent.

Ordering was easy and there was a good choice. I chose a product with signs of wear however I was really impressed with how immaculate the item looked on arrival. Really well packaged too. Delivery was fast. Had a quick look at the product but it is a christmas present so cannot comment on the functionality yet.
