I’ve just passed my driving test first time in a manual, and I honestly couldn’t have done it without Imran Abdullah. He is an excellent instructor – extremely patient, calm, and supportive throughout all of my lessons.

Imran explains everything clearly and makes sure you fully understand before moving on. He really helped build my confidence, especially with manual control and test routes. Even when I made mistakes, he stayed positive and encouraging, which made a huge difference.

He is always professional, reliable, and genuinely cares about his students succeeding and becoming safe drivers. I’m very grateful for all his help and would highly recommend Imran Abdullah to anyone looking to learn manual driving.

Getting in touch with Stoke driving school was THE best decision I ever made, Andy Garner is an amazing instructor, he taught me in an Automatic and he knows how to explain things to make them easy to understand and doesn't over complicated things, Meaning I passed my test comfortably (1 minor) and is a genuinely lovely guy. Going to miss my lessons with him. I cannot recommend these enough!

Really good instructor

Driving wasn't something I took to easily or learned fast. I actually spent over 5 years with a different instructor before I came to Jason, but I'd plateau'd, the teaching style wasn't meshing well with my learning style. After failing my 1st test in June '24 with my previous instructor, I contacted Jason. The man has an incredible amount of patience, I'll give him that lol, I can be a stress head but if I needed to loop the MFI roundabout 99 times, that's what we did. The thing that stands out the most though and why I am so appreciative of the time Jason gave me was because he recognised my learning style. He pointed out that 1 hour per week was getting me anywhere, I wasn't learning anything I didn't already know, I wasn't retaining after a full weeks work, and my money was being wasted. Jason advised me to book my test, practice in my own car when I had time and call him to book an intensive course once I had a test date. Honestly, it's the best thing I ever did. After 6 long long years learning to drive, I passed on the 11th of March, it was a long road, but now at least I can drive it on my own. I'm extremely grateful for the time, patience and understanding Jason showed my frazzled brain.

ben made my driving lessons something to look forward to every week. he is so calm and makes you feel at ease when doing lessons. would recommend him to anybody that’s looking for an instructor.

I passed my test with Ibraheem and he has always made me feel comfortable and at ease during lessons. He’s reliable and knows his stuff!!! He has transformed me from being a bag of nerves not knowing how to steer a car properly- to a fully confident able driver. He is ace at what he does. Thankyou Ibraheem !!!!

A huge thankyou to Jason Cooke, he has been an amazing instructor. He was so patient and explained everything so clearly. He got me through my test on my first attempt with zero faults. Cannot recommend him enough.

I had a great experience learning with Stuart from July 2025 to March 2026! He’s really calm and patient, which made every lesson a breeze. He never raised his voice, so I always felt relaxed behind the wheel.

Stuart was really constructive and encouraged me to ask questions, which helped a lot. Thanks to his guidance, I passed my driving test first time! If you’re looking for a knowledgeable and supportive instructor, definitely go with Stuart!

Ibraheem is a brilliant instructor, he took me from knowing absolutely nothing about driving or cars to being able to pass my test first try. The most chill instructor I’ve ever seen and always willing to help out and help you succeed. I highly recommend him as an instructor.

Made the whole experience of driving an automatic so much easier. No stress with gears and more concentration on the road and mirrors. 10/10

Thanks to Andy for helping me get to a place where I could finally pass my test.
After taking a break after a couple of years, I tried again with Stoke Driving School and Andy had great knowledge that helped me build the right skills to become a safe driver

Great instructor, got me through my driving lessons and past my test, after 3 failed attempts at trying to drive when I was younger which made me very nervous.
