Great service

Today I contacted strollers spoke to an absolute legend called Mike, my electric reclining chair had broken I had explained my situation how I needed a new one ,he contacted his boss and they said all the vans are busy and Mike and his boss came in there car and delivered it for me ..above and beyond lads thank you so much .

Excellent service

Excellent Customer Service We bought a king size bed and Paul…

We bought a king size bed and Paul served us. He was honest about best long term buy and had endlessly patience with our questions. Bed delivered by two great lads who took all packaging away. More than that though, as well as having a fabulous range of furnishings and lights, Stollers offer excellent service whether you spend £3 in the restaurant (which is really good) or £5000 on furniture. They offer true customer service.

King size bed

We purchased a king size bed and the service was really good . Paul Kerr who served us was extremely helpful and gave excellent advise . There was a good range of products to choose from .
We also had lunch in the cafe and this was excellent , great atmosphere, good food and superb service .

Poor Experience sadly

Sad to say our purchase of an Alexander James sofa & chair has been very disappionting, it became clear the sofa was very uncomfortable so after a couple of months we called Stollers to see what we could do to make it more comfortable ie, more pillows which we were told is a 20 week wait! the cushion base is also very firm & to my surprise i was advised " jump up & down on it, thats what we do before we show them" even after this....somewhat surprising revelation the sofa is very uncomfortable
Having tried all this & now both my wife & myself now suffering with aches & pains from sitting on our sofa ive removed myself from it, the really annoying thing is, one last final call from me this time really making a complaint rather than looking for help i was very clearly told by Stollers customer care team its my fault for clearly picking the wrong sofa, they will send someone to look at it, they will find nothing wrong & we will then not talk to you about it again....great customer care that for 3K
Strikes me if Stollers own reps are jumping up & down on products to make them feel comfortable so you buy it, kind of makes "your own fault" for making the purchase somewhat questionable...
Now stuck with a sofa which is clearly too deep for the amount of cushions so you almost lie on it & strain your neck whilst wrestling with the fact the seat cushion is so firm you dont sink at all into the sofa thus giving no back support & as for Stollers other suggestion that this sofa ....isnt for sitting on its for curling up on, that's ridiculous
Sadly ( because i would really have liked to buy other products from a local company) Stollers are really friendly when they are taking your money off you but totally different when you have a problem

Outstanding

We went to Stollers looking for a single dining chair, and over two visits ended up coming away with an additional four chairs and a Highboard. The range is outstanding, so many high quality luxury furniture pieces. Some are pure works of art. The staff are superb. We were expertly looked after by Lee who has such a broad knowledge and understanding, meaning he was able to show me items he knew would be comfortable and sturdy enough for me to use. I'm 6 foot 5 and 20st so comfort isn't something I find easily in most furniture. We also had great service and advice from Mike who kindly set up some chairs in two different leg formats for us to compare, and also helped with choosing the right chair. Eden was friendly and professional, processing and coordinating our order from the warehouse for us to collect from the loading area. You won't get this quality or service elsewhere.

Great products and service.

Looking for a pair of new sofas, we visited Stollers and were really impressed by their amazing range of suites! I had set a budget, but was so taken with the Stressless my wife made me try, and by the lovely saleswoman, Paula Barlow, that we did a deal there and then.

Paula was exceptionally professional, and personable. She helped us to get the specification just right, and kept us updated during the build period.

The guys who delivered and Installed the new sofas were priceless! They were great to have in the house, really careful, and exceptionally tidy.

All in all Stollers, Paula, and the installation crew made spending far more than I’d intended a really positive experience.

Highly recommended.

Out of time

Not our best experience.
12 to 16 weeks with a loan sofa ended up taking 7 months for our sofa to arrive. Mar 14 2022, with little to no contact during and plenty thereafter.
We were really hoping for something nice having waited this long instead we ended up with a sofa (sinking in the middle) with a 3 inch gap minimum.
We sent videos as well as pictures to Stollers the day it arrived... Stollers wanted to bring out an engineer? Ridiculous, it should've been spotted but instead it was passed on to us.
Buying a brand new 2 seater sofa which requires constant jury/jerry rigging is not right.
Results: For the past week there has been contact, visits, plus help on the shop floor but just settling for anything or being told there will be further delays was adding insult to injury. The sales people done their best but their hands were tied when it came down to what was available immediately. In the end we were refunded which gives me reason to believe this was not intentional... Just bad timing.

Although we waited 9 mth's for a chair the wait was well worth it , Luke kept us updated with the progress and issues that they were striving to resolve with their supplier and we finally received a top quality product, many thanks to Luke and team

Bought a few item from here over the…

Bought a few item from here over the years and never had a bad experience yet, ordered a table and chairs last Monday and it was delivered Friday, perfect, staff are so helpful the salesman even carried chairs from the other end of the shop so we could compare them, couldn’t ask for more .

Seriously bad after sales service

Seriously bad after sales service, good luck with any problems regarding delivery or the obnoxious person at the end of the phone, you have not chance of a resolve.
My expensive sofa was 2 months late, apparently scotch guarded in the delivery van, really! health and safety will have a field day, arrived completely unwrapped, (COVID forgotten apparently) then gouged a piece of the wood floor out as one part of the sofa had no temporary protective feet on, the damage £200 but not their fault, unbelievable.

Poor aftersales service

Poor aftersales service, just had a reply from Stollers, asking me to ring the customer service, I only posted this after I had tried to resolve my problem with customer services, sent someone to look at my table who then went back and lied, I spent thousands at this store but won't be going back.

STOLLERS .!! JUST GO !!

Simply the best furniture store and cafe in North of England.(if not beyond)..End Of...
You get what u pay for as the saying goes ..
Staff so helpful and knowledgeable no pushy sales hassle ...if you need them.. help is at hand ..
Right from the purchase to the delivery 10/10....
Even exchanged something we had delivered and in house for 2weeks ..and decided it wasn't right...
JUST GO ....YOU WONT REGRET IT !!

I have just moved house and have bought…

I have just moved house and have bought just about all my furniture through this shop. Ant Baptie has been excellent and despite COVID have tried to minimise the impact of delays. Neil the manager brought loan chairs to us when our dining and kitchen chairs were delayed so that we could move in. Great shop, fab choice and lovely staff.
