This is not a personal loan site- This is bait and switch.

~ Update: Since putting up this review I have gotten 9 phone calls from this company today, a text, and email as well. The phone calls were not even spread out. Called back to back 4 different times all while I am at work in my office and having to swipe to ignore the call just to get another call. The email message I recieved is the company trying to convince me to take my review down because they do offfer loans. So let me make this a little more clear how this works. My credit score has been the same for the last 9 months. It hasnt changed more then 2 points. 640 credit score. I was sent a pre-approval letter from them very recently based on this credit score that says based on my credit and payment history (no late or missed in over 8 years now) that I am pre-qualified for this loan. My income to debt ratio is also within their range as the same debt to income ratio is used for my mortgage when I financed and refinanced. So what they do, is after doing a soft pull - Which by the way none of my credit alerts even picked up and they usually do - they come back and say oh your credit isnt within range but we have this other program where they want you to send them money instead of your creditors. They want you to STOP paying your creditors and instead send them money so they can negotiate a lower rate for you to then start making payments to the creditor. It ruins your credit and so many people fall for this scam. You end up paying the same amount between the creditor and them so just dont do it. You can literally call your creditors youself and do this for free and not waste any money sending to a company who is profiting off of you and causing you to lose the credit you have. it will cause you to have bad credit for 7 YEARS. Plus - those creditors can still come after you in court for the debt. This is a scam. This was not advertised on the flyer. They are blowing up my phone now trying to get me to take this review down so it doesnt "mislead you"..... I would think their good business practices - if they have any - would speak for themselves and they would not be working so hard to prevent a review from being seen. I would recommend looking elsewhere. There are plenty other companies who do not do this deceptive practice or you can call your creditors yourself and work something out. It is very easy to do so and that way you may lose that account or credit card, but they dont report badly on your credit. Please dont fall for this. That pre-approval letter is not a pre-approval at all but an intro for them to sell you a disaster packages as help. And then turn around and say they are so sorry you didnt meet the approval requirements. It is a scam and a trick to get you to call.

By the way stonebridge - Please stop calling my phone. It is giving creepy ex boyfriend vibes for real. I am not taking down the review.

Original: This is not a personal loan site. I meet all the qualifications, income to debt ratio, great credit score. This was a bait and switch. Looking to consolidate a few cards into lower interest. have not had a missed payment or late payment in over 8 years and they want you to stop paying your credit cards while they negotiate a lower balance which destroys your credit and you can literally do yourself for free.

Hi Charline, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're sorry to hear that we were unable to approve you for a personal loan. After reviewing your application, your credit score and debt-to-income ratio fell below the thresholds required to extend a loan offer.

If an alternative option was presented during your consultation, it was only with the intention of helping you achieve your original goal of paying off your debt. Any program designed to eliminate your debt in full will have a positive long-term impact on your credit profile, even if there is a temporary adjustment period.

We understand this wasn't the outcome you were hoping for, and we respect your decision to explore other paths. Should your financial situation change or your credit score improve in the future, we welcome you to reach back out so we can reassess your options.

We wish you the best on your financial journey.

Sometimes you have to go with your gut. At first I didn't know what to expect, I reached out to some reliable people and after speaking with them I decided to do this. All I can say is the initial process was good. Now let's see how this is going to play out.
