We needed a super quick turnaround on a large, bespoke dining table. The whole team and process from start to finish was amazing. Nothing was too big a problem. We made some fast decisions and they, in turn, got our table ready and installed we couldn’t be more pleased with it.
Highly recommend.

Our experience is very similar to the most recent reviewers, and it has been appalling and an absolute nightmare — we are now in a legal process to get our money back. I hope this review can save someone else from having to go through what we have.

In brief — we ordered a concrete countertop in November and it was installed in January. Paid £2600. They came to fit a day late and didn’t inform us we needed a plumber to attend, it was a Saturday so we were then disconnected from water and gas (with three young children at home) until Monday. Within a few days, the countertop which we had been assured would only stain from “Coca Cola” began to show ugly white marks all over from literally any contact with liquid (see photos) where the texture changed — it looked like burn marks. We contacted Magdalena and she tried to say it would dry out but when it clearly wasn’t, Pablo attended and agreed it should not happen. After a really challenging exchange with Madgalena (her phone number doesn’t work, she just emails, and it’s like dealing with an evil character from a Disney movie) she offered a replacement. Which would take at least 4 weeks more.

4 weeks later — and with no update from then, only us chasing and receiving very rude and curt replies — we finally got a date for the replacement to be installed. We had to cover the cost of another plumber to come out (they refused despite it being their fault the product was faulty) and again they didn’t come at the agreed time (this time hours early after we had organised our work day around the allotted agreed time).

Less than 24 hours later — exact same problem.

Magdalena refused to give us a refund and kept insisting on a replacement, eventually admitting the company was on the verge of insolvency which tracks if you look them up on companies house and see that the Director has at least 8 other companies about to be struck off.

She kept insisting on a replacement and that they use top quality materials etc — but no mug would trust that after our experience, and her claims are easily disproved such as they’ve been in business 10 years but the company is only registered since 2023.

As they are in breach of consumer rights, we are now forced to pursue our money via legal means. We have also reported to trading standards.

It has been a deeply unpleasant and stressful experience. We had been saving for our new kitchen our whole lives and had been so looking forward to this renovation, now we have a hideous ugly counter and are down nearly 3k in all.

I hope they get caught soon by the authorities and justice is served, they are clearly trading in a very unfair and dodgy way, taking people's hard-earned money and not supplying the product they promise.

Do not use this company, you'll end up regretting it. The product they supplied us is unfinished, sub-standard and shoddy.
They have refused to rectify this and even used photos of the installation advertising it as another satisfied customer!
Should have been a red flag when they wouldn't do anything without full payment ip front!

Do not trust this company. They do a rubbish job and then don’t complete it. Every excuse is used by them. They’re all rude especially Magdalena.
Before you pay they answer the phone and reply to emails but once you’ve paid good luck!

Make sure you pay by credit card through PayPal. The only saving grace you’ll have.

Apparently my review is “untrue”. would you like to know how many times they have answered the phone after payment…….. that would be a big fat zero!
Oh wait no they did answer when I put a stop on the payment through PayPal! Then the “big boss” got involved! He seemed reasonable and agreed to things that then Magdalena refused.

The job is still not done and they were paid in November.

I cancelled an appointment (one they were coming back to fix an issue because of their shoddy work) for a family emergency which for some reason is now an huge issue (because I’ve written this review!) . It was a few days before mind you! yet they cancelled an appointment on the morning they were supposed to be coming between 9-10am!
Oh and if you can’t do a day they suggest then my goodness you’re a terrible person!

Basically don’t waste your time with them!

Firstly what ever was put on the surface has bubbled and peeled, so there is no way that would have been rectified in 30mins as it actually has to be redone completely! We have now had 2 other opinions from proper professionals.
They would then need to come back on another date to then polish. And honestly how could one even trust their quality of work now?!
We have on cctv that your driver in an oversized van wouldn’t unload his required tools for the 30 min appointment which you actually yourself via email said would be an hour! And then like everyone else go and park the vehicle free of charge where he could. (No paid parking where we live!) To be clear there was a space outside our house that plenty of delivery/ workman vans have used but the van they showed up in was an oversized van. We didn’t allow the driver to stay parked in our driver way as he was totally blocking the pavement and the view if you had to step out onto the road. Our road is high foot and vehicle traffic so it could have been disastrous and we were not prepared to risk that. Which isn’t unreasonable since there were two men. I mean how much required equipment could possibly be needed for the 30 min appointment?!

It’s funny because almost all the good reviews on here look fake and then when you get the 1 star reviews which are the real ones they can’t handle it!!!!
They even tried to get my review removed for defamation! lol

Instead of spending all this time arguing why don’t you try to fix your business to do things well????

The fact I had to do a PayPal dispute (and it was for 50% because they hadn’t finished and they had spilled the sealant on our wooden floors), was because the job was not done properly and there was yet again no answer on the phone. I said come finish the job properly and I’ll release the funds. They refused to come finish the job until I released the funds, so I did and yet they still haven’t done the job! So is anyone surprised that I’ve now contacted Amex???? Absolutely not! You have not done the job properly and honestly I don’t think your company is able to. Having had two other professional opinions I have been told the stuff they use will always peel and they should never do a dry sanding like they did.

I also want to add that the chip they filled (I was warned by them that the colour would not be an exact match) but it’s not even level, it’s not been squared off. It’s substandard.

I really wish I could add pictures of the peeling surface. It’s shocking. Definitely not a done job!

And finally only ever written 4 reviews, two 5 star and two 1 star. Go ahead and read! I think you’ll find I’m nothing short of honest!

I chose Stone Worktops after I read the reviews from other customers, and I was not disappointed. I was happy with the quotation, and chose the service which included the template, as I have a Victorian house, where the walls are not straight. Communication was good, from the outset and I am very pleased with the worktop, which is a great colour (I chose medium grey) and finish.

Great experience from start to finish. Beautiful worktops and excellent attention to detail. Highly recommend!

I need to thank all at stone worktops for supplying us with exactly the colour and style of sink worktop we wanted.
The supply and fitting of the worktop ended up being a very efficient process , thanks to named persons can only be expressed to Pablo and Magdalena as they were the only individuals we came into contact with , I have no doubt a larger team deserve thanks.

We ordered a large concrete table (3m x 1.2m) for our garden and are delighted with the quality of the work and design, including the pine legs/frame. From the start the team were helpful with our queries and the delivery process was done on-time and professionally. We used Stone Worktop company to supply concrete countertops for the reception counter in one of our locations in London. These were done to spec and on time and we are going to use Concrete Worktops again when refitting our facilities.

Pawel Piorkowski is the director of Stonework Tops and Milena Tryjankowska is the sales manager. Pawel Piorkowski is also a director of Freshpol Ltd, which is a company registered with companies house as a retail company. Pawel Piorkowski is a mysterious character, who does not have an office number or email and is never available to talk on the telephone. The only person you can ever talk to is Milena Tryjankowska, who cannot make overall decisions.A business cannot function without answering the phone and because they rarely answer the telephone your confidence with Stone Work Tops is questionable. I repeatedly asked to speak to Pawl Piorkowski no response.As Milena rarely answers her mobile you will have trouble speaking to her directly.

Stonework tops use Freshpol Ltd as a storage facility, Freshpol Ltd appears to be a residential house in Nottingham. Don’t let your worktop get stored here as Stonework Tops charge exorbitant storage charges, which are much higher than real storage facilities in London and soon you will have a huge storage bill.

Stonework Tops are sole traders. If you use this company you will beset with issues regarding products and transactions with them. I have sent Milena Tryjankowska  numerous emails, which she very selectively responds to, she has also she stopped returning or answering any calls.Every problem that you have will be referred to their terms and conditions.

Stonework Tops aggressively ask for money and say if you don’t pay for your worktop before delivery they will destroy it, the also would not unload the worktop unless everything had been paid for despite the work not being fully completed.

Dealing with this company will cause you a great deal of stress and anxiety as their customer service is not good. Read the reviews and think twice before you use this company and if you do use them be aware of patchy communication and storage charges.

Whole team was extremely helpful at helping me choose what would work and look best and made the whole process much easier and less stressful. Our concrete kitchen worktops are of the best quality, the finishing in particular is superb. Worth every penny.
