I’m lost for words to express my gratitude to Simon and Kate for the amazing work they have done with my 14 month old Cocker.

He’s just come back after being there for a 4 week training residential and the change in him is phenomenal.
When we left him he was a very stubborn wilful pup who we were having issues with training and him just not listening. On picking him up he’s like a different dog, they managed more than I thought possible with him. He’s still stubborn but Kate and Simon have done a fabulous job with him, we just need to keep it going.

They were good with me as I was a little concerned about leaving him for so long but they put my mind at ease and they also updated me on his progress by sending me videos. Which I loved! sometimes couldn’t believe was my dog 😃

I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking for a training centre for working dogs.

Had a 121 training session with my cocker puppy last week, what can I say, fantastic enjoyable experience. Simon is so knowledgeable and engaging it was great to learn so much about what I was doing wrong and right in training, and how to use the dog whistle properly!
Rosie loved the experience too and it true to say it the owner as well as the dog who need training, and I would highly recommend Simon and Stoneycairn for training knowledge and expertise.

Met Simon and Kate today for their assistance in training our dog to walk with us calmly without him pulling us as though he were pulling a sleigh. It worked. Within minutes of arriving Kate put him onto a slip lead, walked him to show us that it could be done and it worked. Both Simon and Kate then explained not only where to place the lead onto our dogs head, but the reasoning as to how it would work. Both my husband and I duly walked him, both very nervously but with calm, tutoring, bags of patience and constant support we were able to not only walk our dog but totally enjoy doing so. We can't praise Kate and Simon enough, they also explained the technique for placing and removing the lead to eliminate what had previously been stressful for the dog and ourselves. Knowledge is a truly wonderful thing, gained from experts who care. We came away much more confident that we can now help our dog enjoy his walks, which to date had become a nightmare. Thank you Simon and Kate.

Simon and Kate are very knowledgeable and friendly, shame I never met them 4 years ago.
I almost gave up until booking a 1-2-1 at Stoneycairn. I will return without hesitation.

I brought my 5 month old working cocker for some help as I was struggling to manage him. By the time we left I understood the issue was with me not the dog! Simon and Kate gave me lots of tips and insights into my own behaviour and body language, all done in a relaxed and friendly manner. I can already see the difference at home which is amazing. I would highly recommend Simon and Kate as they clearly know their stuff.

Been using Stoneycairns for our nutriment dog food they have been incredible total life saver during the pandemic the service is brilliant and reliable will never shop anywhere else now highly recommended totally deserve 5 stars.

This time working two or more dogs together.
Really good exercises and scenarios on varied ground. Great advice personal to me and my dogs.
I've taken away from the day plenty of ideas for training on my own, plus tips for aiding progress.
Not least, lovely home cooked food and great fun with like minded folk.
Can't fault it. Thank you Kate and Simon and all involved.

We took our 5 year old Springer Spaniel for our first 1-1 training session today. Simon and Kate are so friendly and have so much knowledge to share. We have already learnt so much and can't wait to return. Highly recommend to anyone.

Great day with Simon and Kate, whether it was group or individual work every dog and handler is given individual tailored feedback and the opportunity to put it into practise. Good ground and they make full use of it

Simon and Kate are great - very knowledgeable and helpful.

Kate and Simon really know their stuff and tailor-make training for the dogs in front of them. Both 1-2-1 and group training is carried out in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, which builds confidence and pushes the dog (and owner) to succeed. I love how they look at things from a dog’s point of view, giving a totally new perspective. They have a great range of dog foods and training equipment too.
