This company has very bad renting behaviour, increase increase and increase in monthly rent

Storage For Your Life was a lifesaver when it came to our big move! It took awhile to get into a new home, but we were confident our belongings were being looked after and in a secure place in the meantime. We were so happy we recommended them to friends, and received a pretty nice referral bonus for the referral. The one and only drawback to the whole experience was finding their actual office, as their storage sites are spread to different areas of town, and Google Maps is crap with directions. But we would 100% recommend them to anyone needing storage, and will definitely use them again in the future if needed.

Four stars only as they are impossible to phone. Apparently there is no one in the office to answer the phone when it rings. Then when a person leaves a message no one bothers to call back. Too bad.

The key pad to unarm/arm the units is in a poor place so when it’s sunny you can’t even see what it says, the moving blankets have been up in the elevator for months, it’s dirtier than it used to be and you keep raising the cost

Review for Dallas location. Travel trailer was broken into. Among the items stolen were two heavy duty 6v batteries. Thieves have an access code or follow other vehicles into the compound, they did not carry these batteries out by hand. There are much safer locations to store your stuff, not worth the monthly rate.

Fantastic people. Can't say enough good things about them. Very easy process and great rates.

If I could of moved,I would of moved but they would’nt reimburse my money, was offered things they didn’t have. I paid cash but could’nt get cash back I had to take it in storage. You said you were open 6 days a week and at first I could find anyone 6 days a week but now it is better but they over charge because it’s is not for a month it is for I think 4 weeks

Absolutely horrible service. Management was nothing but rude and unwilling to help. It took several visits into the office with nothing resolved. All due to their inability to process online payment transactions with sufficient evidence to support the payment being withdrawn. Also getting in contact with them via telephone was completely useless. They were not open during the hours listed and never returned numerous calls and emails.

There have been two price increases in the short time we have had our locker - convenient door access has been limited - washrooms are not available at all times.
Staff is lovely - facility is clean - feels pretty safe - this is our first experience with storage - so not sure how it compares.

Worst storage! Unreasonable staff. Non legit evictions. Unrealistic expectations. Scammers. No bathrooms after 5pm. Place on Quadra smells like urine and feces. Rip off! Not worth it!

I have had a really excellent experience with the onsite staff. There has been a bit of a turnover since we started there in 2016. The current two people who work in the office are outstanding - polite, helpful and reassuring. I’m pleased with the high standards of this storage facility and would wholeheartedly recommend it.

They are the best storage facility I have ever dealt with. Friendly Customer service and convenient access.

My only complaint is the carts are not always available at the front entrance doors.

Think rats got in my boxes and came home with me.showed the storage staff pics of fresh rat poop they told me all they can do for me is let me use their garbage bin for free to throw away any thing with rats damaged.this is why i ended my services with them and what staff told me.upon signing up they made me get insurance saying its gonna cover me for any damages caused by anything there but after their story changed to just letting me use their bin

Good people. Very helpful. Prices are a bit high, but the facilities are excellent.

Very competent, and courteous staff; professional overall.

Climate control is minimal, in winter it was always cold and summer very humid. In the few years we rented a unit there rent increased but the quality if the building decreased. The elevators became slow and loud, garbage often was full, dollys, when available, were very junky and in need of replacing, and I'm certain it took them at least a year to replace a rubber on one of the door stoppers. For a newer storage facility it was very poorly taken care of. Also their contract says nothing about giving them a month's notice but when I went to close my account and get part of my payment for the month back as it had only been a week they refused and told me it had to be that way and they could only offer me a free month if/when I rented there again. I did find a reference to this but it was in an email and is not in the contract. What really bothered me was you don't have to sign anything or show ID to close your account, you just go in say who you are and that you are closing it, they give you a print out saying you don't owe money or something and that is it...so anyone could have done this. Also they kept phoning my parent's place if I forgot to pay, they never phoned my cell. Pretty sure my parents' number was secondary/emergency.

Not sure had lots of problems but still paying a high price .when other storage are way cheaper .but if I didn't work so much I would my things .
