The service is quite good. Only problem is the lift is often become out of control. Maybe it’s too old...?

Smooth and easy process, no deposit required - easy payments & affordable too!

Particularly impersonal & inflexible staff.
My storage unit doesn’t open easily & wouldn’t lock at all. I had a sore back & one of the staff walked past so I asked for a hand move one thing. He refused, saying it was policy. Do you really want to store with a company that makes such rules?

They went out of their way to make things easier for me as I didn’t have any transportation to get to their office to prepay for the storage unit. I was definitely stressed, as winz only paid for the movers to pick up my belongings from my house, to take to the storage unit in ferrymead, (as the storage unit in Riccarton was full at the time of my booking.) there was only one storage unit left, and they held it open for me, until the next morning when they opened at 9am, so I could pay with my Visa card for the use of the storage unit and the insurance too. By that time the movers where halfway through packing up my belongings into their trucks and one van too, and the storage unit guy told the movers what unit number to off load my belongings into. The staff at storage king where very helpful, knowledgeable, and cared about my situation. I never went to my unit or to the depot at all, so I could not tell you anything about the that side of things. Thank you to the staff at storage king both at the Riccarton branch and the ferrymead branch. Nobody died, so it must have been a good experience. Lol.♥️

Few hiccups due to covid, but spoke directly with Tristan who I'm pretty sure is the owner of the ferrymead branch and all sorted

We are previous customers and had a good experience and needed to use storage again. We decided to come back and give it a go and so far we’re very satisfied. One thing though we were told was that the free use of the truck or trailer was only for the first initial move of belongings into the storage unit. I think it would be a positive thing for both parties to have it be a longer use perhaps up to 3 times.
