Storage King Australia - Maddington Reviews 

The reception at the Maddington storage was lovely and informative

I initially signed up with Storage King with Victor who was great. There was a deal if you paid 5 months upfront, you'd get a free month. After that lapsed, i asked to renew. Victor then left and I dealt with a new manager who's name was Kristy. She argued with me about the deal despite me providing evidence of my enquiry to renew and staff saying it was ok. When I got close to the end of my 12 months, instead of appreciating long term renters, she hit me with a 45% increase in the monthly rate ($69 to $99).. after that.. it had not even been a month, she tacked on another increase ($105, total 53% increase). I complained right away and they responded that it was a mistake which I highly doubt. I chose to end my lease before being subjected to multiple future high increases. I then emailed them twice of my notice to vacate and received no response from either email. I will be opening a dispute shortly as I am due for a refund for the remaining dates. Beware - Kristy has no sense of customer service and will eventually hit you with high increases.

Registering was easy and quick.
Employees knew there stuff and were helpful.

Great people to deal with and they are always eager to assist and full of help advice. Helps make the transition of moving easier.

Great Staff, The van was so handy to use thank you , Easy access and close for us if we need every day.. The only thing that was disappointing was the unit wasn’t swept and roller door is dirty but other than that fantastic 🚙😉

I wasn't able to talk to anyone when I called and I didn't get a call back, perhaps I will tomorrow.
Storage King have just taken over the Maddington site that was owned by a private company who very very good at responding :(
I will say that when I first met the new owners they were very keen to assist and the early phase of a new business may be the communication problem now.

Very accessible location, friendly staff, very clean and well kept premises

The whole experience of using Storage King Maddington was made very simple. It was very straightforward and we have been able to take our items to the unit in our own time. We are very happy with the service we received and the fact that we got two months for the price of one was an extra bonus.

Recently got a storage space sorted, had to move all my 1by1 apartment furniture into storage whilst I am living with a friend because i couldn’t find a place to live long term as yet.

Victor helped me look around at sizes of the storage spaces, was very helpful and communicative and prompt. Smooth and quick process of setting up everything. He also checked in that all was good when the removalists came to drop the furniture.

Think the only downside which is super minor is that there are no lights in the storage space itself. I bought a portable bunnings light for the space.

Not sure what to write, as it is a storage place. It provides the services it advertises and seems secure, at a reasonable price
Additionally, the staff are polite and helpful.

Victor at Maddington is very friendly, professional and helpful.
I would reccommend anyone to use your Storage facilities.
