Don't buy CHUWI

Don't buy CHUWI. Stay away from this company! They are based in China, which makes absolutely everything incredibly difficult once you need real support. If you expect their products to last more than a year, you’re on your own — they will not cover anything, not even if you’re willing to pay for after-sales service.

I bought a CHUWI CoreBox X with an Intel Core i7 (not a cheap device by any means), and when I reached out for support, this was literally the reply I got:

> “Chuwi offers support via email for consultations and after-sales support and 1 year warranty on its products.
Sorry, your order #8909 is out of warranty.
We are unable to offer further service for your order. Hope for your understanding.”

Unbelievable. No help, no options, no willingness to offer paid repair — nothing. Just a flat “out of warranty” and goodbye.

Extremely disappointing experience. I will never buy from them again.

Chuwi GemiBook Plus

I want to leave a review of the Chuwi GemiBook Plus 15.6" laptop. For me, the deciding factor when buying was the price and perfomance. I use the laptop to work in the browser and office programs, the laptop copes with these functions without problems, I am very happy because I got what I wanted for a small fee. The sound is better than that of analogues. The screen is large, the keyboard as comfortable.

Bad quality, verry bad service

Hello,

I have purchased tablets, PCs and accessories from the Chuwi brand, and I sincerely regret all my purchases. In addition to the fact that the quality of the devices is well below average, I can only say that the customer service and technical support are below zero.
My last experience started almost a year ago, with a freebook 360 PC (I bought 2 for my children and recommended a 3rd to a family member). Two quickly had screen problems. They had to be sent back to China at my expense for more than 2 months of repair. Once returned, one of the PCs had a battery problem that no longer charged. It has almost never been used. I had to send it back again and at my expense for repair. Now it has been 6 months and despite my many calls, I can only be patient! so in total 8 months without use and the one-year warranty, minimalist and illegal in Europe, is exceeded and I have neither the repaired PC, nor a replacement PC, nothing.
Run away from this brand. Even if the performance of their machines seems exceptional, the quality is zero and if you ever have a technical problem, then you are good to wait forever.
What a shame, such behavior with customers for a brand that seemed so promising...

CHUWI Highpad 10 Pro

I bought in August 2022 a brand new tablet for 300 USD with 1 year warranty.
After 5 months it had a pregnant battery and backlight problems on the screen.
Here on the Philippines chuwi have no service, so it needs 1 month that the original chuwi seller shop advice me to send it on my cost to Hongkong repair service. Then I asked for the repair time, cause it's brand new tablet still in production, it needs maybe 2 hours to change battery and screen.
After a week I got the answer and they told me, the repair needs 4 (four!) Months. Ok, that's the date of ending warranty... 😜... So I asked after 4 months "where is my tablet"?
No answer answer anymore.
Silence.
The sellers chat is funny, every time I should tell them again whole story and they discuss and excuse, but then silence again...
Now, after 6 months I did not get back the tablet and not the money...
I really am soooo, so so disappointed and my lawyer is now starting to fight cause of cheating and stolen my tablet for more the 300 USD.
The platform where we bought the tablet promised to send me back my money and clarify the situation. But my lawyer said, that we will delete the complete selling in the Philippines...
DON'T BY ANY CHUWI PRODUCTS IN THE PHILIPPINES AND OTHER COUNTRIES BETTER ASK, WHERE THEY HAVE THE LOCAL SUPPORT AND REPAIR SERVICE.

YOU'LL WAIST YOUR MONEY...!

STAY AWAY FROM CHUWI STORE! I did order for notebook with cpu celeron j4125 but got with j4115 wich is lowe spec,I contacted to CHUWI store for replace notebook, pass one month but still didn't get any instruction how and where I can send this for replace!

No Warranty Support - Do Not Buy

I purchased Larkbox PC from them. It stopped working during it's warranty period and they requested me to send this to their customer service at Hong Kong. Even 4 months after sending them, they have not fixed it nor replaced it nor give any timeline to return it. And all this is in warranty period. Very unprofessional and money is lost buying from Chuwi. Beaware and please avoid.
