If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would. I have emailed them 3 times last month asking for help with a new camera. No reply I was forced to complain on facebook. I called the help line 5x in one day no-one is available... I submitted the case number via facebook and they request my info and enquiry again, disappointing as I love Sony products.

I wrote them some points in bed last night for you SONY NZ

1) Listen to your customers,
2) Keep your promises.
3) Avoid an online ‘fails’
4) Be available to your customers.
5) An effective support/complaint handling system will make customers feel valued.

Customer service... What a joke!

I just recently bought a new Xperia ZX2 and it's telling me there's a new update so I download and install it then it says when you restart your phone it will be updated. When it restarts it says it's updated but then a notification pops up telling me I still need to update it and I've tried doing it both with Wi-Fi and on my computer with Xperia companion so I called customer service TWICE. The first guy was very hard to understand because of his accent and couldn't help me at all so tried to email me some steps but got my email wrong (even after defeating it back to me correctly) and the second guy just told me to try installing it again and then try it on companion which I did AGAIN and it still didn't work so he just kept telling me to retry and check if it updated which was very frustrating. Then he asked me if there's anything else he can help me with when he didn't even help me fix the installing problem. What is very frustrating and got me nowhere, now I've got a brand new phone that can't even update

Customer satisfation after repair

buy a sound bar 6 months ago, subwoofer just stop working (does not even light up) ask the repair service, after a month of waiting I get the subwoofer after having an email that this one had been repaired. To realize that it came back to me completely destroyed. start with the support of the repair company that sends me back to support Sony. To end up being told by the support of Sony that it's not their problem. No more buying Sony product !!!

Sony is a no brainer for me

Sony is a no brainer for me. I have always loved their products they are durable and perform just as well if not better than the competitors. LG I used to love but it seems quality of product became less important to them over the years. Trust the name. They are still here big and strong for a reason.

Sony phones -Excellent

Bought a Sony Experia phone it is absolutely fantastic best phone I've ever had - can highly recommend Sony phones to everyone. The battery life is especially brilliant - The model I got was a XA2 and what a excellent price - everyone needs to know how good Sony is - well done to Sony on making a super phone.

Absolute rubbish!

My toddler purchased almost $160 worth of content without my knowledge. The first person I called helped me to set up security and guaranteed a refund within 3-5 business days as a “show of good faith”. Refund was suddenly denied, citing I had used the content (nobody had even been on my account in days) and once I called again, they informed me that it didn’t matter what the first guy told me that they don’t do refunds. Thanks, Sony. Trading in my ps4 and going to Microsoft. Maybe their customer service isn’t complete rubbish.

Sony are a disgrace - impossible cash back scheme

Sony are a disgrace and owe me £80. Avoid. Their cash back scheme was fake and a scam from my perspective. They advertised £80 cash back and seem to have systematically avoided ever having to pay it.

Firstly, I tried after the purchase and the cash back claim was reject as I had to wait 30 days after purchase. !!!

Secondly, I tried again after a couple of months and the system accepted my cash back claim. But it never actually paid.

Thirdly, I raised the non payment after a couple of weeks and was told that they had no records and that I had now missed the claim cut off - which was never advertised!!!

Forth, I supplied all details to Sony and they have since messed me about for a month and replied today:

...In regards to your enquiry, please be advised that we have received the pictures sent from your end, and your complaint had been raised internally, but unfortunately the pictures does not prove that there was an attempt of filling the form nor an error message which are needed, and therefore the claim can not be accepted based on the information provided.

Their cash back scheme was fake and a scam from my perspective.

Wait to expect more!

I like the Xperia series in recent years rather than usin iPhone/ Samsung. But expect more features and function instead of being conservative. I believe Sony can do much better!!!

Great mobile phones

Great mobile phones! I love their design, it is very easy and comfortable to use them. The size of the phone is perfect, the visual and sound system is well developed.
