Works great and is very small and discreet. Bought it to get my girlfriend's turntable up and running (plugged in a Bang and Olafson no less). This also means I finally got my turntable and mixer back, which was a strong motivator. Perfect if you just want to plug a deck into a system.

Cost effective preamp for my "Dual" record player which was easy to install and which produced very good sound.
I used to look down on Behringer because of the name, but I really gotta stop doing that now, because for at least 15 years they have consistently produced quality hardware (considering the cost) There is nothing you can hate about this product. Super clean sound does what is says etc.

I'd bought a vintage Marantz receiver to replace one that had died - lucky find, but no jacks for the record player, so needed a preamp. Knowing nothing at all except the type of plugs it had, I was able to match it to this product and it works beautifully. It's small and I can tuck it away behind the unit, and it was a good price for something that gives such great sound quality. It also can be plugged into mains, which some of the ones on other sites couldn't (they use a 9V battery and reviews say that you chew through the batteries, so the plug in one is good).
