These are the most respected single MIDI to USB interface, and deservedly so. There are cheaper devices out the that may work in simple applications, but the Roland UM-ONE mk2 can be trusted with the highest throughput of MIDI data without missing anything. Controller Change messages can swamp some cheaper devices and they will then loose MIDI Note Off messages, causing a note to stay on (cypher), but the Roland UM-ONE mk2 never suffers from this problem.

So far, so good - it does exactly what it says. I've yet to put it through its paces, latency-wise, but first impressions are very good.
Works perfectly, has plug and play functionality with Windows 10 OS, comes with a CD with the pc drivers aswell if you dont have internet connection. The led lights give helpful feedback for trouble shooting about if its plugged in and flash to show when it recieves a keyboard input, plenty of cable length. Can play multiple notes at the same time without issue. Chip is encased in thick plastic. Glad i purchased this rather then the cheap alternatives.
Bought this unit to use along side the Akai Force to trigger vst instruments on a Windows 10 laptop. Works perfectly.
