The SM57 is a must have for recording, the most useful tool in the studio.
Using for a piano mic, good texture in sound. Comes with a solid safe mount, handy bag and velcro strap.
An industry standard for many years, don't bother buying a cheap copy, the best sound for the price.
It should be good when I get to use it. I would have liked a lead with it.
All round classic, have now reverted to recording drums in a very small room with the sm57 as overhead and Beta 52a on Kick. Simple but very effective for what I am doing.

The Shure SM57 is a well-known workhorse for studio or live gigs. There is not much more that I could add to its repuration. But I have purchased many microphones from Store DJ. They have never let me down.
