What is Storyberries? Storyberries.com was founded in 2015 with the aim of creating a large, easily-accessible library of free-to-read quality stories, poems, fairy tales and comics for children. Since our launch we’ve rapidly found ourselves a beloved place in the hearts, homes and schools of children all around the world, and currently enjoy more than 22 million reads a year. Storyberries offers both classic and contemporary stories in an easy-to-read format with vibrant illustrations designed to excite children and engage them around reading. It also offers discussion guides designed to encourage caregivers and children the opportunity to explore real-life issues together over stories. Stories at Storyberries are selected and organised by theme, enabling parents, teachers, caregivers and children to share learnings from literature in addressing common childhood issues such as bullying, empathy, beauty, self confidence, helping, stranger danger and more. In doing so, we hope to harness the power of literature to empower children to understand their own evolving natures and special place in the world. To humanise technology through encouraging dialogue around the process of reading, using technology to enhance rather than detract from our human interactions, and helping forge bonds between children and their caregivers around the pleasurable time of reading together. 3. To foster understanding between people and cultures by publishing stories that represent the richness and diversity of human experience.

Storyberries is a wonderful source of fun and educational stories for kids.
The stories appear in text and audio formats, accompanied with beautiful illustrations. There’s also an option to watch an animated version of the story, with easy-to-read subtitles that kids could read along to.
The website also lets you find suitable stories based on the child’s age or interests.
I highly recommend it!

Love the stories! I try to read one each night to my unborn baby! <3 The ads get in the way sometimes, but I understand the site has to make some sort of income for providing free books. :) Great site, organized as well. I have it bookmarked for easy access!

My kids love our nightly Storyberries ritual. We hop into bed and find something new to read. The illustrations are different and usually fab and I particularly like that they identify the time it takes to read a piece so we never have to read across nights

Lovely collection of baby stories and poems categorised by age and ability to read along the audio-version. Thank you to Jade and other authors!
