Youtube Copyright claim dismissed asap!

Youtube gave me a copyright claim that was false so I reached out asap to story blocks. Franco was able to deal with the issue asap and it wasn't long before youtube removed the copyright claim. It's great to know that Storyblocks is set up to deal with issues when they come up making it easier for the user. Great service!

I started a monthly trial and was…

I started a monthly trial and was mistakenly charged for annual. Franco jumped in as soon as they were back in office and took the time to help and get it fixed and a refund for the additional amount.

I'd highly recommend their customer service but also their product. A lot of great content packed into the subscription.

Great Product, Fantastic Customer Support

I loved StoryBlocks when I was making multiple videos for graduate school and my job as a teacher. I deeply appreciate my most recent interaction with Franco, though, when I needed to cancel the subscription. He helped me with the process with dignity and positivity. I’ll continue to highly recommend your service!

Resources are worth the Wait

I have found the resources that Storyblocks has to offer right in the wheelhouse of what I need. I've been with them for around 8-10 years and have found their pricing reasonable, especially considering the fact they are actively growing and improving their library with useful and quality additions.
Their support department is small (you have to be patient) but the return on the other side is worth it.

They remove access without refunding you

I paid to use their plan. After I tried to cancel as I did not need to use it after the first month. Their page returned an error and hence I email them about this issue asking for a cancellation. As part of their policy they say you can keep using it until the end of the period you have paid. It’s a lie. They cancel my subscription and remove my access despite having paid an entire month and only using it for 3 days.

They customer service doesnt reply via chat or email. Unacceptable behavior and horrible service.

Misleading Licensing & Questionable Business Practices

We signed up with Storyblocks under an individual license, which they advertise as covering commercial use. Shortly after, we began receiving emails claiming we were “not compliant” because we are associated with a company—even though the license option they provide is literally for individuals.

When we reached out, Storyblocks essentially said the individual license is “really intended for freelancers” and pressured us to upgrade to a business account ($10K/year) or have a legal risk for our brand/company. It feels like the “individual license” is a marketing tactic to bring people in, only for them to use compliance scare tactics to push costly business upgrades.

As a small company that only dabbles in social media and video ads, we initially thought Storyblocks would be a great fit. Instead, we’ve been left feeling misled and pressured. Their tactics come across as unprincipled and not customer-friendly, so we’ve decided to terminate our usage and find a more transparent alternative.
