Our Italian vacation was amazing! Highlights were half day trip to the island of Procida, cooking class at the home of Manuela and Maurizio in Naples, food and wine tour with Tamara in Sorrento, tour of Pompeii with Mario and the exquisite hotel room and beach experience at La Tonnarella in Sorrento.
Arrividerci for now Italia but hope to return sometime!!!

My mom and I had an amazing adventure in Italy. It was well organized and planned out by Jessica. The food, accommodation and sightseeing were incredible! We had a fabulous time!

Storywalking booked us the most amazing Mother/Daughter trip! We traveled to Rome, Florence and the Amalfi coast and every piece was perfectly time and planned. We had a fantastic trip! This was my first time booking a trip with an online agent and I was a bit nervous but everything went really really well. Hotels were fantastic. All guides were great. Some of our tours even included museums or galleries we didn’t even realize were included, making for an awesome “once in a lifetime” trip for our family (ages 5 - 48). Every transition from day trip drivers to train or water taxi transfers went perfectly. The local representative was responsive throughout and helpful with a handful of real time hiccups. Truly no complaints and would definitely book again.

We were more than pleased with our experience with Storywalking. From start to finish, our agent and her staff were fabulous and very responsive whenever I needed something or had a question. The tours they planned were just perfect. All of the guides and drivers were amazing and knowledgeable. We had some outstanding hotels throughout our stay in Italy. I highly recommend them and I will definitely use them again.

We took a day trip to Tuscan County side and our driver, Claudio, was excellent. He drove very well and gave very good advice about gelato and local places around Florence and every town we went too.

Our Storywalking travel consultant Arianna spent almost nine months working with me on a specialized tour of Northern Italy, that offered us flexibility to visit family as well as unusual, less toursity areas of the country. Over that time, significant changes occurred requiring alterations to our trip plan (e.g., number of people traveling, exact dates, locations to visit, accommodations needed, availability of direct flights, etc.). Arianna professionally and graciously lept into action to cooperatively problem-solve. When I needed suggestions, she delivered helpful information, but there was never any pressure or inflexibility. Every traveler need is thoughtfully addressed, with patience and aptitude, and the things you don't even know you want are delivered.

The accommodations she secured for us in Sirmione and Cortina d’Ampezzo were spectacular. We expressed our overall travel preferences and budget and she found lodging that far exceeded our expectations in some locations, while meeting expectations in the others.

Tours and experiences she booked offered us unique, high-quality, individualized access to information and places we would never have found on our own. We wished we booked more!

We had a fabulous time. Puhlia is fascinating and we learned so much more with our guides. Clothilde in Lecce led a tour that was the perfect balance of food and history. The pasta making class with Juanita in her home was so much fun, and I can't wait to try it at home. The itinerary was a good balance between guided activities and time on our own to explore. All the accommodations were great. It was reassuring to know that there was someone I could WhatsApp at any time to get more info and make an adjustment to the schedule. Absolutely wonderful!

This was our first time using Storywalking and Chiara was nothing less than an exceptional guide. Given this was our first trip to Italy, we wanted explore as many of the country’s key sites as possible. In nine glorious days, we managed to visit Venice, Florence, Tuscany hillside, Amalfi Coast and Rome. We never really felt rushed and every day our drivers and tour guides were prompt and extremely knowledgeable. Venice was fantastic to walk and see most of the island. Our guide graciously added a trip to Murano and a guided tour by a representative of the original glass maker. I highly recommend San Gimingnano and the wine and food tasting at Tenuta Torciano Winery. Our wine order was shipped promptly and delivered to us the day after we returned. For summer wine drinkers, highly recommend the locally produced Vernaccia! Focus your Amalfi Coast tour to Sorrento, Ravello and Positano. Rome was better than our initial expectations - cleaner and very walkable. Our tour of the colosseum with Goia was very hands on and a spectacular engineering achievement for the times. Cannot wait to get back to Italy again. I wanted to use more of my broken Italian but found everyone spoke English quite well!

I have nothing but great things to say about Arianna and Storywalking. I am so happy I came across this company to help plan our 14 day trip to Italy. We started North and worked our way across the country to the South. From the first step to the last step Arianna was a dream to work with. She took into consideration every detail from budget, to our likes to dislikes, and making our time worth every second. The hotels were great location, clean, and friendly staff. Our excursions were perfect for our needs. We aren't huge history fans but Arianna made sure we saw the most important ones and signed us up for tours that didn't take up to much of our time but informed us with the important details. She fit in the perfect time for down time for us to explore on our own. She had transportation set up perfectly weather it was a private transportation, a water taxi or high speed train we always knew exactly what time and where to meet and go. Arianna was great with giving us suggestions on things to do on our own during our free time and then places to eat as well. I also LOVED having the gently reminders everyday through the WhatsApp. They text you the night before with the plans of the next day along with the tickets if any are needed and the meeting points of the transportation or tours. The text line is great to have during the trip with any questions that may pop up during your trip, they always had someone to respond to my message. Like I have said from the beginning I have nothing but great things to say about this company and Arianna. I cant wait to work with them in the future on our next trip :)

Everything went so smoothly between transports, tours, and hotels. The accommodations were beyond our expectations. All of the tours were amazing. Having a private guide for those tours made it so much better as well as skipping the long lines. Very happy with location and quality of hotels. Eirini did a great job. Always responsive and created a itinerary perfect for our liking. All of the guides and transport drivers were friendly and great. Will recommend to friends for future vacations.
Being able to see 4 different Italian cities that all were unique and different in their owns ways made this trip always exciting with never knowing what the next location would entail.

What made our experience with Storywalking exceptional is the contacts with the actual humans presenting and securing our options and excursions. Not only did they make the reservations and transportation, they reminded us each evening what we were to expect the next day. They also respected our budget. We travelled with them for four weeks in April 2025. The guides were perfect as were the drivers and tours. The tours were of things we. had never thought of. Wonderful in every way.

From our first conversation, we realized we had found the tour company that would plan our trip to Italy. Being our second trip to Italy we were in need of some guidance to smaller cities and activities. We settled on following the Po River valley on an exceptionally planned food tour.
Arianna Zampieri, our tour consultant, recommended tours of The Culatello di Zibello, Parma food tour, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, and the Sereni balsamic vinegar producer. Along with two cooking classes (one in a Nonna's house) and accommodations in small boutique hotels, Arianna put together a great itinerary. The on the ground support was fantastic with all transfers and activities on time and efficient.

I’ve wanted to send you a note to say what an amazing experience we had in using Storywalking for our recent trip to Italy. What we were most impressed with was how easy it was to work with Storywalking and you especially. From day one we knew you were only an email away to any questions or changes we wanted to make to our trip to Italy.
Our amazing trip started when we landed in Rome around 10am and our driver was already there to greet us and retrieve our bags. Tired from our long flight the private driver greeted us with chilled bottles of water and some sweet treats, a very nice touch to begin our adventure. After a 40-minute drive from the airport we arrived at the Monti Palace Hotel in Rome. After checking in we were led to our room and saw that it was smaller than expected but very clean and the hotel was beyond our expectations. The bathroom was extremely large with an oversized shower and plenty of space to lay out our travel gear. We were so excited after arriving, we dropped our bags and headed out to explore Rome, we wandered the streets and didn’t return till 8pm. The next morning, we had our first breakfast at the roof top café. The Cafe included everything one could want and more, the view of Rome from the terrace dining room was breathtaking. Day two was our first tour that you had suggested of the trip, the Colosseum and Roman Forum. We met our tour guide easily at a nearby park and waited for the others to arrive. All the guides from the entire trip were professional, friendly and spoke English well. Later that evening we had our walking food tour guided by Enzo who was born and raised in Campo and took us to many places that highlighted the food in Rome. Enzo was also an archologist, so he was able to give us a tremendous amount of background to the areas we were visiting throughout the tour. Day three was Highlights of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel we met our tour guide outside who gives tours the Vatican and Chapel daily, he was just as excited as we were to show us everything just as if it was his first tour ever given. His passion for history and arts really showed during the whole tour. Day three was one of the highlights from the trip, we made our short train ride to the Contadina Breakfast Farm Tour. I did not know what to expect to see on this tour but the views on the train ride were well worth the venture outside the city of Rome to Frascati. We were greeted by our host Oreste who was gracious and much of a Renaissance man, A baker, wine maker, guitar player and best of all an amazing storyteller. From the moment we entered his home we became part of his family, on the table they had an amazing breakfast of homemade cakes, cheeses, meats, wine and pastries. Oreste began to tell us about his family’s vineyard and his love of his country. He was soft-spoken and lived a simple life on his own terms. He told stories of harvesting grapes with his children during the day and sitting by the fire at night playing guitar and singing with family. After breakfast we hopped in his car and took a short drive to a nearby winery to tour the underground wine caves and take in the views from the hills overlooking the city of Rome, just an amazing experience for our last day in Rome! Now off to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast….
The next morning, we met our private driver who took us to the train station and again he arrived prompt, friendly and English speaking. We boarded our train, and we were off to Sorrento. We arrived at the Hotel Florida around 2 in the afternoon and had a free afternoon to explore. We asked the hotel front desk for some of the local’s favorite spots to eat nearby. We found ourselves at a small family run pizza shop and had a beautiful margarita pizza and soaked in the culture. Downtown Sorrento was close by, so we walked and explored the shops, ate gelato and walked the waterfront, the views were breathtaking and lots of pictures were taken. Waking up the next day we had our Capri boat ride and Blue Grotto tour. Our Captain greeted us, and we were off to Capri. It was breezy but the sun warmed us while we sailed across the water. We were dropped off and had the mid-morning to venture through the winding narrow streets of Capri. It was like stepping back in time and living in a different world. We headed back and boarded our boat for our trip around the island of Capri. Our captain had packed mozzarella and tomato sandwiches for lunch and refreshments to enjoy. Unfortunately, because of the high winds and rough water we could not enter the Blue Gratto, but we were able to look inside. We headed back and disembarked with another great day of memories.

Allowing the team at Storywalking to plan our Honeymoon was worth every penny and more. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. They planned the perfect honeymoon for my wife and me and were there to provide support every step of the way. This was a long vacation that included a ton of travel and moving around and they didn't miss a single detail in planning and organizing this for us. The quality of service from Maria, the rest of the team at Storywalking, and all of the drivers and guides that they coordinated for us was unmatched.

It’s genuinely hard to find the right words to explain just how incredible our recent trip to Napoli, Positano, Sorrento, and the Amalfi Coast was — all thanks to the phenomenal planning and support from Jessica at Storywalking.

From start to finish, every detail was perfectly curated. Jessica arranged wonderful hotel stays in both Napoli and Positano, offering comfort and charm with beautiful local character. But what truly made this journey exceptional were the experiences she lined up: a heartfelt cooking class on a local farm, a wine tasting at a breathtaking vineyard overlooking the Amalfi Coast, a dreamy boat ride to Capri and back, and a food tour in Napoli that was as authentic as it gets. One of the standout aspects of working with Jessica was how seamless everything felt. Daily reminders of the next day’s itinerary and her constant availability for any help made this a true no-fuss, no-bother vacation. We never had to think twice about logistics — we simply showed up and enjoyed.
