Poor Management response.

Came across a person who didn't seem to know what they were talking about. So I asked if the response was from AI. The reply came back that this was "very rude" and that the company would therefore not deal with me....

This prompted a letter to the Managing Director pointing out this absurd response and that I would still like to go ahead with my order. I assumed that the company would be very apologetic but never even got a reply. That is an indication of VERY poor management. Goodness knows what would happen if I actually had a problem with an order. I went elsewhere and got proper courteous and efficient service.

Superb service and delivery

I ordered Belge Franco Monaco replacement bricks and a baffle on Wednesday around lunchtime and they were delivered before lunch the next day. Incredible service and totally recommended.
The brick set and baffle fitted perfectly.

Excellent Service.

I bought some liners for my Esse stove from ADS and:
A) They were despatched by return
B) I messed up my “new customer discount” code but they applied it anyway
C) They fitted the stove perfectly. If people can’t work out how to fit them, it’s not ADS’ fault😳

Exceptional service

The service I received from Stove Spares Ltd was exceptionally good. I approach them by sending a photo of the rusty throat/baffle plate for my very old stove. I then received a quick response suggesting two possibilities - one looked perfect so ordered it. Unfortunately it was out of stock so Stove Spares (Dean Fleet) passed my order directly to the manufacturer. Unfortunately there was then an issue with the delivery, but I had excellent support throughout and received the re-ordered part this morning. All the emails I sent had very quick and helpful replies and from my experience, Stove Spares Ltd have my highest recommendation.

They ignored my request to cancel my…

They ignored my request to cancel my order even though they were shut for Xmas my email was sent 4 days before they reopened but still they ignored my cancellation. They quoted a vat inc price then charged vat again. Don’t touch them is my advice

Very pleased

I ordered something on backorder. I emailed before to find out what the likely delivery might be. They were very upfront and said when it was expected but they couldn't guarantee it would be included in the shipment from the supplier. It has arrived very well packaged and exactly what I wanted at a more reasonable price than other suppliers. I think you have to be patient if the manufacturer isn't in the UK

I ordered a hinge pin for a stove door

BI ordered a hinge pin for a stove door. The item is approx 1cm in length by 5 mm diameter. I completed the on line purchase paying £6.76 which I thought a bit excessive ! entered my card details and hit the pay now button. I then received an email stating I had just paid £16.96 ! unbeknown to me they charged me £10.20 delivery without my knowledge or permission. What a cheek ! I have since contacted them and complained. They said the best delivery price would be £7 and the reason I wasn't told of delivery cost was an IT error. I cancelled my order and received a refund.

I think they are brill

My fellow reviewer may have thought it a scam operation but did he pay the full amount? Did he get the refund? Was it given without bother? My experience is wildly different. Helpful, informative, honest, knowledgable and available. I screwed up, they could have stung me, instead they have gone out of their way to help me. Availability of items is clear and delivery was outstandingly fast for a very modest sum. I will use them again, but as is the way with cast iron things, if you look after them they last a long time.
