This is my second set of wheels from Daren at Strada wheels and I couldn’t be happier. The wheels I purchased were for bike packing on my Mason Bokeh, and replaced some Mason Hunt 650b, after 5 demanding years which were excellent value.
Upon Daren’s advice and based on my needs I chose 650b Strada carbon rims with Hope pro 5 hubs.
These wheels were an upgrade from the previous one’s and therefore at a price premium. I was slightly nervous that I might not have noticed any significant improvement, but I need not have worried. After the first few gravel rides I can safely say they are bl@&dy awesome! Roll well, nice and smooth and light too!

I bought a Strada Big Fella Disc Wheelset back in 2021. They arrived quickly after being hand built. I have ridden them for 6 months during the winter and some spring months every year since purchase. That is over 12k miles. I have not needed to do anything to them. There are no loose spokes, they run true and the hubs are still smooth. They have been excellent.

Had a good discussion with Darren about the build. When it arrived it was spot on and ready well packed.

I damaged my DT Swiss XMC rim beyond repair. Darren offered me many options and great advice. I opted for a Strada XC-E Ultra carbon rim to be built up on my original DT Swiss hub, where they also replaced the bearings. The wheel was expertly built by Michael and ready within the week. I'm very please with my purchase and experience. Thanks again Strada Wheels.

I’m somewhere between 105 and 110kg. I bought a pair of Strada Big Fella Wheels back in 2021, so you could call this a long term review. I’ve done something like 7,500 miles on them, including a bike tour to Chamonix from Uk carrying another 15-20kg of luggage - well beyond the design limitations.

All I can say is that my wheels have stayed true - they are as straight now as the day I bought them.

I did bust a spoke coming off a curb on the last day of my bike tour. I wrote to them when I got home, and asked them to send me a spoke up. They said ‘No, your wheels have a lifetime guarantee, send them back, we’ll service them, and replace the spokes for free’. And they did. And they sent me some spare spokes back in the pack.

They gave me a cracking service, and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Thanks Strada for many happy cycling miles. I can’t tell you how much fun and reward you have given me.

No response to emails about an order. No timescales, no response, no nothing. Very poor service.

I recent bought a set of wheels from Strada Wheels - "Big Fella Deluxe | tubeless ready strong wheels for big riders" Okay, so I am a big rider but not overly big, I just like strong wheels to deal with our local potholes!

They have the 32mm deep DT Swiss RR511 rims on DT Swiss 350 hubs and 32 spokes - they are bomb proof and they look great! They have really lifted the bike (my fully restored Raleigh 653 from their special products division, which I probably probably bought new in the mid 90's)

I have ridden the bike a few times now and the wheels have been rock solid without even one ting or twang from the perfectly tensioned spokes. The rear hub has a nice reassuring "buzz" to it when freewheeling without sounding like I pegged a playing card to the seat stay (Kids ... this is what we did for entertainment before the gameboy was invented!)

All in all a great product, great looks and all at a reasonable price. Well done Strada Wheels.

Great wheel set from Strada 👍 Only thing is, there service is not there strong side: slow respons to e-mail, slow to send a wheel back after a repair and difficult to order from them.

I upgraded the standard wheels on my Specialized S-Works Roubaix to a set of Strada ENVE wheels on the advice of a friend. Excellent product.
