I believe this company to be fraudulent…

I believe this company to be fraudulent and at the very least unprofessional. No follow through, no communication, failed to do the the task hired for, invoiced me for services not performed and loves to send threatening emails for payment they have not earned.

Stay away from this company.

Confused/Ignored/Lied Too

I've tried many times to call Vincent and their automated phone answering voice kept hanging up on me. Just can't get answers because I feel like Greenstone legal group is trying to screw me.

I recently started a program with them…

I recently started a program with them and things were fine until I decided to go a different direction with my finances. I tried writing an email to end my participation in the program and asked for unused money to be refunded. My emails have gone unanswered, so I tried calling, no answer, not even voicemail. My advice is, be sure their service is what you want because you won’t be able to get ahold of them after

Fraud

The company they connected me with, Atlas turned out to be frauds and are undergoing investigation. When I canceled, my payments were not returned.
Strategic walked me through the agreement and stopped responding when I reached back out about the scenario I was now in.
My thought, strategic is committing fraud alongside the companies they are connecting clients with.

I am both Embarrassed and Ashamed!

I am both Embarrassed and Ashamed!

I cannot believe that people would consciously occupy themselves all-day long with an effort to scam people; what a gross expression of artistry. These people are, to be sure, con artists.

My first thought was to not delve in such a situation, but because I have always paid my bills and have never neglected them, I was hoping this would be a viable option to be fair with my creditors, given this turn of personal events; I have recently experienced some extreme health challenges along with a drastic change in income status. So, I viewed this option as a means of handling my debts responsibly, to bring about a positive conclusion before any lateness would occur, given my situation. It has been since October 25, 2023, and I've been unsettled ever since. Phone calls, emails, text messages, mailings have been very unsettling.

The company never talks about their fees, but only that once there is "enough" money accumulated in the account. I was told their fee for settling each account would be $25.00. I thought that was great, so I subscribed to this service. But I was then heartbroken, after four months, during a recent phone call with one representative who spilled the beans about their fee, and said, read your contract. Nestled way down in the contract is a fee of 25% of each debt settled. Who in their right mind, knowing this upfront, would agree to such?! So, the plan here is to string the time out as long as possible to ensure that late fees attach, making their portion as large as possible before contacting the client about settlement. 25% of $9500.00 = $2,375.00. That's just for one creditor! Just imagine if one has multiple credit accounts for settlement?!

However, to date, there is no activity worth speaking of; my agent does not respond to my inquiries (voice nor email), the main number is inoperative, and my number has been blocked from my agent; my escrow account is missing money - even though there's been no authorized expenditure toward the settling of any debt; the list of accounts was inaccurate, and finally my emails to the company I've been switched to (Atlas), is not responding to my inquiries; their site says it will take 5-7 days before anyone will get back to me.

Today, I have contacted the Federal Trade Commission regarding this. I do not know what the outcome will be here, but I have to do something. For sure, I now have to go back to every one of my creditors and attempt to arrange a solution to bring this situation to the best possible conclusion.

My advice to any who read this is: Follow your first mind. In reading these reviews, both positive and negative; I noticed a lot of positives which is what won me over, but what I have been caused to focus on more clearly because of my experience, is the fact that there are no reviews which state that this company has successfully settled anyone's debt. Not one!

Don't be swayed by a nice voice over the phone, or their explanation of how credit or debt settlement works; you already know this information; they are masters at persuading people to subscribe to their service as a 'convenience' to you, that's why they are the ones talking on the phone. That's what makes them con artists. I knew better, and I'm ashamed and embarrassed for not doing what I should have done. And now this is the result of false thinking. Extreme Inconvenience.

I would actually leave less than 1 star…

I would actually leave less than 1 star if possible. After numerous attempts to contact them - with no success - I have actually retained an attorney. I have paid over 4K and have seen absoulutely nothing in return. I would highly recommend if you are thinking about using this company - DON'T.

Pretty sure I've been scammed

Been trying to contact my agent or anyone for that matter for 15 days now. Signed up in August and am now convinced it's a scam. I've already contacted my bank for a stop payment but still can't get ahold of anyone to cancel my program. Don't recommend.

I just cancelled my program…

I just cancelled my program participation, this company is not 100% truthful when it comes to the fees they charge. I was told that fees would be collected upon settlement agreements with the creditor, but that's a lie, they take 90% from your payment each time for a Retainer Fee and Service Costs. This is why they tell you it takes months to negotiate settlements because there is nothing left after all the fees. Then just wait until you need help from your Brandon Ellis Law Firm's client support team, I was on hold for hours everyday for 5 days straight and never did get to talk to anyone, and don't waste your time emailing them because they will tell you to call them. I paid them over $1,200 in 2 months, and received a refund of $6.04, and they didn't settle any accounts. They are a mess.

I have not been able to get in touch…

I have not been able to get in touch with Kory Dillet, who is my Strategic Consultant. I've tried calling him every day & all I get is "your call can't be completed as dialed." I'm using the number that he gave me when we had our one conversation. I've even emailed him to no avail. I don't know what the problem is, but I don't appreciate the lack of communication. I want to speak to someone ASAP!

You'll never contact anyone after your first time.

After the initial consultation and setup by phone I had serious problems that needed and still need addressing. The main phone number hangs up on you, the supposed direct line to my agent hangs up as well and there's no response to continuous texts after 3 weeks. I'm trying to figure out how to get out of the mess Strategic Consulting put me in wrecking my credit for no good reason.

This is a scam

This is a scam. Charged me after I canceled during my intake call with their attorney at Meadowbrook in Mt, Laurel NJ. Now all contacts aren’t answering - number doesn’t even provide voicemail option just rings once and hangs up. The financial advisor at Strategic Consulting, Neil Walsh or the actual firm itself. THIS IS A SCAM! I’m making a police report tomorrow, I contacted my bank and already made a report the BBB.
