Garden Centre lunch

We met friends and had lunch at the cafe. Asked multiple times for the table to be cleaned and in the end cleared it ourselves. I ordered fish and chips and the fish was inedible and sent it back. Was given fresh one which was ok. My husband had soup of the day which he said was an incredibly small portion and lacked taste. On the whole experience disappointing and wouldn't go back.

Cafe/restaurant is appalling- Coeliac's don't bother

I was perfectly happy with the plants I bought.
I decided to have a cuppa and something to eat. I need gluten free foods. There were no labels whatsoever to indicate what cakes were gluten free. 4 people behind the counter all ignored me completely. I eventually got their attention, though they seemed annoyed.
There was only one fresh cake, which for an establishment of this size, there should have been more choice.
The table was laden with used crockery, which the couple who held the table told me that apart from their cups, it was already there. This was outside in the shade.
Employ the appropriate number of staff to work the large restaurant/cafe properly AND provide them with trolleys for clearing tables.
LABEL your cakes properly
This was a far from pleasant experience

Rude staff

When I was in the the food shopping section with my dog, a member of staff pointed at me and stated that my dog was not allowed in there. Her attitude made me feel uncomfortable. When I got home I rang the store and was told that the section I was in allowed dogs. I told them how I was made to feel, and the complaint was followed up… I received only an apology from the store manager, no apology was given from the member of staff who was so rude.

First time going to Stratford Gaden…

First time going to Stratford Gaden Centre. Ordered product online and choose click and collect service. They were quick to email reply. Had a call first thing the next day to say it was all ready for pick up and what time I would like to collect. We had a look round the garde centre and got a few more items then stopped for lunch in the cafe. The service was A* food was delicious. When we went to get our items from click and collect the staff were amazing.

No dairy free cakes

Love the actual shop, no complaints about that but the cafe lets it down. I’m lactose intolerant and they have NO dairy free cakes on offer. They’d had vegan flapjack but there was none left. But just having one is not giving customers a choice is it??? They took over 10 minutes just to bring our drinks. Ridiculous. Shan’t be going in the cafe again. Same at the new Warwick Garden Centre.

Shame about the service

Café serves very good food at fairly reasonable prices and is large, bright clean with comfortable chairs - and can be very busy.
One downside today was the service: my wife's meal arrived but mine did not until 7 minutes later; the drinks (that were brought by a different person) arrived another 4 minutes later.

Generally good but

Cafe has good food at reasonable prices, shop and facilities are clean and tidy, good range of toys for children.
Slightly disappointing, therefore, to be shouted at from across the store by an assistant when I picked up an empty box from (what I understood to be) the recycling bins at the end of the checkout desks to put my purchases in.

Unfortunate, so many had not so good experience.

Wow, is the word. Ordered items came in neatly packed, less plastic and "green "in condition. The plants were in good health and the price, very competitive.
The dark side is it is tough to place an order, keeps on rejecting payment for no reason. The web team support (Jack) is excellent. However, the same can not be said of customer service. They take loads of time to respond and lacks warmth.
But the plants are worth every pound and more !

Great service.

Delighted to find they had the rose bush, that I have been looking for, in stock. Ordered late Thursday and it was delivered on Monday. Well packaged and fantastic condition. Great service - thank you.

No help whatsoever

They are unwilling to help people over the phone place an order. It must be done by the website, even if the website does not list the item that is in stock! Pushing them further, I was promised a phone call back to help get what I wanted delivered. funny old thing, the lack of enthusiasm in the first phone call resulted in a stunning silence. They simply can't be bothered to help. Sad really.

Very poor..

Very poor... reel of hose marked £38.99, tried to charge me £46.99 at the till, woman makes me wait for someone to get two other reels from the shelf marked £45.99, and then tells me the price on the computer is the correct one and that 'someone might have swapped the label' - meaning me, you mean? How bloody dare you!!!

More likely you're cynically and artificially inflating your prices as we move into warmer weather and hoping customers don't notice... well, I have!

This item is £32.00 on Amazon, and while I appreciate physical shops will have higher prices, it's ridiculous to tell me I can't buy it at the marked price, which is still well above what I can have it delivered for. Greed, pure and simple, and foolish business practice to alienate customers over small amounts.

Won't be using your shop again, folks; for the sake of £7 you've lost a lot more in potential future sales I'm afraid.
